You don't usually actually have to shoot anyone.

You just need them to understand that you absolutely *will* do it if necessary.

The democrats think you avoid war by repeatedly giving concessions to your enemies. But that doesn't ever work, eventually they will ask for something you cannot give.

The conservatives understand that you avoid war by making your enemies terrified of fighting you. That works very well. The more terrifying you are the better it works.

The pendulum is about to swing in the opposite direction of Clown World.
By the looks of things, the Trump pendulum is going to swing fast and hard.

I can only hope that it swings with absolutely no mercy on the enemy.
