As any responsible gun owner would be I was cringing watching him handle that pistol. Basic safety was non existent. I’ve had trouble before clearing a jam from one of my rifles. I set it down and got help from the RO. What a shame this situation was 100% avoidable.
I just used 2 - 10’ sticks of 1/2” pvc conduit. I screwed one side down with 2 - 1/2” two hole emt clips then I bent the pipe down and clipped and screwed it the same way on the other side. I repeated the process on the opposite side of the bed. I took 2’ wide chicken wire and cut it about 6”...
Cool thread lots of great info. Scrolling through here has given me some good ideas on things I should add to my prep. Anyone use a vacuum sealer? I’ve been considering purchasing one to store meat longer.

It is pvc conduit and I made the two larger side panels removable. I left the chicken wire loose on one side so I can still get one of the panels off. I’ll probably build a permanent sloped roof for it over the winter.
I feel your pain @Saltwater60. My two biggest tomatoes were ravaged by squirrels today. They were just starting to ripen. I’m pissed I wish I could shoot those little bastards. I’ll be building a cover for my raised bed this weekend. If that doesn’t work it may be time for a few nasty outdoor cats.
I had a similar thread a while back. The general consensus was that an upper can be assembled with minimal basic hand tools, some punches, a vise and a couple short boards to act as a makeshift vise block. I think it was @GOPerfect that assembled his rifle in this fashion. I’m still rounding up...
