I know 5 people who had it. All of them ranged between 36-65 years of age.
all of them recovered with no issues and complained of the same symptoms, just loss of taste and smell, and cold sweats at night.
One friend of mine works directly with patients wearing gloves and face mask and face...
Oh, ok then. I didn’t realize the answer was that easy! Mine is fixed. But for pistols it says semi automatic, and x amount of features. Since it’s semi auto, it also has a threaded barrel.
I thought it was due to Covid, but when I talked to the person on the phone, I asked that question, and they said they don’t plan on issuing out of state permits in the future. So to me it seemed that they won’t anymore. But then again the person I was speaking to could have been wrong, and until...
So with all the hubbub with the ATF redefining AR pistols, it got me thinking. I own an AR pistol that was placed on my permit, but after talking to someone today, and looking over the pistol section of the UN-safe act for NY, an AR pistol clearly would fall under assault weapon, even with a...
Wyoming county is where I went in august. Mailed all the paperwork on a Monday, and on Friday I got the call to come in for a photo and to sign.
lakawana county no longer issues non resident.
hmm. I could just remove the upper and put on a 16 inch upper and be done with it, but I guessI’d have to get it removed from my permit. The upper I can just keep when it blows over, since no laws states you can’t own an upper.
I’m guessing we would need to get a tax stamp for it, so I guess I could then change the brace to a stock, but I don’t think NY allows SBR..
so I guess I’ll just go boating with it
thanks all for the suggestions. I have a Ruger 10/22 which fulfills my plinking needs, but I just like the "interaction" of lever action for shooting. I will have to look around and maybe look after the "pandemic" buying is over.
I do have my eye on a Mossberg 464 SPX, they run for $449 give...
What would people recommend for a cheap lever action rifle?
never owned one, would like to own one. Wouldn’t care on caliber as it will just be target shooting. Suggestions on ones that won’t break the bank?
I see more trump signs than Biden signs
I know a few people who were democrats drop the democrat party (but most likely will vote libertatian party). I hope trump wins, because a Biden whitehouse would be horrible for this country.
just got my SR22 back today, this is what they replaced
Right insert, slide assembly, barrel and trigger bar. Also gave me a new magazine, and a silicone infused Ruger logo wipe cloth thing.
I’ll have to try it out this weekend. The paper said they shot it 30 rounds with no failure after all the...
My SR22 shoots like garbage. Cant get through a Uruk mag without soft fires, multiple ones. Has been that since I got the gun. Just sent it in last Friday and it’s coming back to me tomorrow. Hopefully the fixed the issue, or have some type of document showing what they did.
Fixed mag, just provided them a receipt that showed the upper I bought barrel length and caliber. Just submitted the paperwork as normal with the extra receipt and took a month. The lower was bought as receiver from the gun store, not as rifle or pistol.
I wonder if he feels he’s not going to win the election and prison can be next, so maybe he’s bringing down as much people with him as possible? Idk, I hope thats not the case
In the last month I built a NY compliant rifle with thorsden stock, and capped barrel, and an AR15 pistol, which was just placed on my permit last week. Parts are from what I found are pretty ok to find. NY shooter supply in Albany has had a good number of stripped lowers in stock, and many...
i called them this morning, and since the paperwork didnt make it to Albany yet, they said they would get a judge to sign a new green form, but since I am already in possession of the serialized part, they said I can come in today and just get a new card.
Mailed in Sept 2nd, check cashed on 12th, received permit with new serial number BUT, they put the wrong serial number
how easy is Orange County to get this fixed? The put a P instead of a D. Is it easy just having them send me a replacement or do I need to go through all the paperwork again?
before pandemic I traveled to NYC from Orange County everyday. I also got unrestricted pistol permit first time. I live in Orange County.
travel to NYC via bus was about an hour and 40 min.
I think that is the exact quote that Mitch said back in 2016 when Obama wanted to appoint a new justice, but the republicans pushed and said no vote if Obama did. Mitch set up a precedence that’s going to look bad for himself and the Republican Party.
I’m down in Tennessee right now, and went to about 6 local gun stores around Nashville/cookville, and almost all are wiped out of 9mm, 223 and 5.56. I went to two academy sports and found plenty of 5.56 at $8.32 for a box of 20, so I was very happy about that.
I know what you are saying, it’s nobody’s business. The range I go to has lots of POs, and old school shooters. So I am bound to be asked I’m thinking.
I went with a Cross. Black one. I like it.
I have a 10/30 magazine, and I’m afraid of someone coming up to me seeing the 30 round not realizing it can only take 10 rounds.
It’s a slippery slope/ rabbit hole. I made a full feature with a mag lock, then decided to make featureless with a Gen3 stock, but now I’m in the middle of doing an ar pistol. Not sure what I’ll make next!
Since you went throught the OC amendment, on the form, where it says Manufacturer, and then pistol/revolver/single shot, do i just leave the pistol/revolver/single shot column blank, since i am checking off the box for Frame only? or do i just put pistol. again, my FFL purchase form for the...
I see on the amendment form, that it asks if it’s frame only and it asks what it is. Do I put Pistol or receiver? Do I check off frame only? And for Caliber, the paperwork for the lower says Multi, so I’m assuming I can put multi?
Yeah it was sold as “receiver”. The paperwork I got from NYshooter supply has reciever checked off instead of rifle or pistol. I’ll have to check with the Orange County Clerks office.
wow that is awesome.
yeah, I figured since the transfer to me at the gun shop was already done, I’d probably have to get a 3rd lower and have it sold as “pistol”, so I can take the paperwork to get amended to my permit, but I’d hate to buy a 3rd one when I have one ready to go.
