Picked up a LNIB basically unfired Gen 2 Sig P250 compact. Will put up pictures once I have it home. It is going to be something of a little project gun.
finally had a chance to go to the range today. Took some empty primered brass to do a test fitting. 357 magnum/38 special fits just fine. Cylinder closes just fine, gun cycles and operates just fine. Pulled the hammer and it set off all 7 primers no problem. Also did a test with 357 maximum...
They come in batches. So nobody will have any of them in stock and the suddenly everybody has them.
side note there is a big problem with the rival SFX and rival s I have found. They are so much fun to shoot my woman always grabs it when we go to range, so I never get to shoot it.
From what I understand if it is on reservation land and owned by natives they only have to follow federal laws. So they could sell ammo however they want and full featured firearms. I wonder why they don’t.
Well I found the sammi spec for both cartridges. Interesting. I have to pick up some more 350 legend so I will do some real world measurements between the bullet heads on the 350 legend and 357 magnum commercial ammo that I normally.
Winchester says that the 350 legend is .357 bullet heads like the .357 magnum. In regards to fitment it uses moon clips for the 350 legend and thus gives enough room for the rim of the 357 cartridge. 357 magnum dummy rounds fit and the revolver closes and functionally has no problem mechanically...
Like the title say, can you shoot 357 magnum (and 38 special) out of smith and Wesson 350 legend x frame revolver? I was cleaning my M350 and started to wonder if this is possible. So I took a 357 magnum dummy round and decided to see if it would fit. Lo and behold it fits perfect in the...
USA agrees to trade merchant of death for wnba player, 2 weeks ago merchant of death meets with head of Russian mercenary company, then USA has accounting error of billions, then Russian mercenary group stages a coup. The USA can’t be seen hiring a mercenary group to attack and remove Putin but...
Man isn’t it crazy that 2 weeks ago the merchant of death (victor) arms dealer that we had traded for the wnba dude Brittany, had a meeting with the head of Wagner group? And now there is a possible coup by Wagner group. How strange.
Yes that would be a terrible shame if all of a gun stores 4473 records would happen to be burnt up in a fire so as the government would not have access to that information whatsoever. Yes a terrible shame. In fact I would advise against storing such records in cardboard boxes surrounded by dirty...
Sportsman’s warehouse probably is like cabelas. They will give you 1/2-2/3 of what they would sell it used for. Popularity and desirability plays a part in it. A buddy of mine down in Erie pa traded in an FN 509C MRD and got $250 for it because the 509 series just doesn’t sell that well
No online retailer will ship a gun to nys with standard capacity magazines. Your best is to order the gun without magazines and then sourced blocked low capacity marines from an online magazine retailer
Looking to sell or trade my fixed magazine AR pistol. Has a PSA marauder 7.5inch with Magpul furniture, aero precision breech ambi charging handle and ambi safety. Has a epoxied fixed magazine compmag gen 3 with an epoxied mag lock. Has a vortex sparc red dot and is set up for 300 black out...
Ruger GP100 are like Glock in the sense they are incredibly tough and durable, and very easy to work on if you want to modify sights or triggers. If you want a gun with a good trigger that you can enjoy as is then it’s smith and Wesson (comparable model to comparable model)
Exactly. This will force nys to define what is and is not a detachable magazine and a fixed magazine is. Nys hates giving exact legal definitions of things as they prefer to keep things vague so as to intimidate and scare citizens into not doing things that are legal. Look at the recent law...
Had a G19 and a G48. Sold the G19 and went with the G48 as it carried better due to the thinness. At the range however the G19 shot better due to the thicker grip. (Thicker grip means more surface area for recoil force to be distributed against your hand)
eventually got rid of the G48 for a...
I love it. Followed the break in procedure and it has been flawless after the first mag. I’m at 850 rounds thru it now. Very flat shooting, very accurate and worth every penny.
caniks come slightly over sprung for 115gr. For the first week I left it in the safe with the slide locked back. After...
My rival SFX came with blocked mags that were limited to a low capacity 10 rounds. The mags are interchangeable with my TPSF. So if your FFL Will only sell it with no mags you can just get regular TP9 mags
The vast majority of states DON’T require a permit for conceal carry. 26 (going on 27) out of 50 states Do not require a conceal carry permit. That is over half, ie the majority
Revolvers also have the benefit of No magazine springs to wear out, if you get a misfire/dud round you can just keep pulling the trigger to cycle to the next round (no need to practice tap rack bang), revolvers can handle more powerful cartridges and thus are better suited to stopping large...
smith and Wesson M350. Holds 7 rounds of 350 legend. Soft as any 9mm pistol and more power than a 44 magnum. Cheaper than 44 magnum to shoot. 145 grain range ammo runs about 15-16 bucks a box of 20 rounds.
Exactly. If neutered firearms and low capacity magazines and no NFA items are good enough for citizens to protect their lives, then they are good enough to be all that law enforcement/ security is able to have. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Id law enforcement / private...
