I wonder how many drivers got waved by that bus who didn't have a dash cam.
I also wonder if the law did the right thing and squashed all those $300 tickets, or if they took the money.
I'm glad you were able to offer an explanation (as bizarre as yet another tictac trend is....). It did seem creepy and a bit unsettling without the explanation.
There is no way there should be photos or video of that.
Asshats on both sides of the lenses.
And it doesn't matter who he is/was. That is disgraceful.
The club's insurance company may have something in the policy about RSO's. Is it a big club? If all member's took the RSO course, and maintained RSO certification, that would make the point moot. It has been done in clubs (ask me how I know).
Such a sad state of affairs that the first thought in my mind was that there will be "its/thems/theys" that challenge "male".
Yet another example of how our government wastes time and resources working up and passing laws/rules/amendments that ARE ALREADY ON THE BOOKS.
JIMINY CRICKETS! JUST...
The reviews are all over the place, aren't they?
I have the GS Extreme 2.0 earbuds.
They will be 2 years old this July.
They are the only ear protection I have used since I bought them.
I have over ear muffs from other companies, as well as in ear plugs from other companies. They all work...
Many of us have been around the sun 50 times, 60 times, 70 times, 80 times.
God bless my elders, as well as those who follow behind me.
Can those of us who have this type of life experience agree, that with age, comes wisdom?
Like it or not?
Pick your cliché:
History repeats itself.

Thanks people.
This is what I learned today.
I thought all threaded barrels were an automatic FU.
Been wrong before, I'll be wrong again. I can just do my best to minimize the occurrences, lol.

Yet another firearm related regulation here in the Empire State that makes zero...
Mods, would you please delete this thread?
No problem really, I was just advised that the question I asked (and the answers) could possibly be used in the wrong way, by the wrong people, and I certainly do not want to risk that.
Thanks.
I know New York is a big state.
I know many of you dismiss my home county of Suffolk on eastern Long Island, and yeah, sometimes that rubs me the wrong way, because there are good people here, who are NOT like those in NYC.
But I'm old school thick skinned, so...
Anyhoo, I digress. For those...
Maybe I struggle with my sense of humor on stuff like this, I mean no offense to anyone.
I have read that he was found with two firearms next to his body. Could be right, could be wrong, I am not in a position to be sure either way. Not many are. I admit, I'm using this specific claim/report...
I hear you.
This is certainly not the first time one of these horrific events happens at what seems to be the perfect time for anti-2A agendas.
To keep what's left of my faith, I tell myself they are all coincidences.
It is a very, very, very disturbing thought though, to think that there is any...
They are not going to share what they know until they have him.
Or they will only share what they feel will aid them in finding him.
Hopefully they know much more than what they are sharing. Personally, I'll bet they do.
As it should be.
A fugitive almost certainly has access to the same...
I've become skeptical of everything.
I've also sharpened my cynicism and sarcasm as the years go on by.
I've become a curmudgeon.
I also believe I'm right...
Pages 14 thru 16 are about an entirely different case, aren't they (DON BLANKENSHIP v. NBCUNIVERSAL, LLC, ET AL.)?
23A230 GAZZOLA, NADINE, ET AL. V. HOCHUL, GOV. OF NY, ET AL. is the case we are watching. The only mention of this case (that I see) is on page 1:

Where did you find the indication of why it was denied?
ETA: @Deplorable Me , to clarify; What did you find that indicates that it "Appears that it wasn't properly presented."?
I haven't found any explanations for the denial, but would like to read them if they exist.
“a sharp departure from tradition.”
This is Pelosi's way of describing the elimination of a wasteful, expensive, ludicrous perk.
Well, the way she sees it when a Democrat is receiving said perk anyway.
They (both parties) call these perks "tradition" because the thieves have all been enjoying...
Questions:
I read concerns about buying ammo out of state, and bringing it back home across state lines. Is it legal or illegal to do so?
If it is legal, then tracking cars via EZ pass or any other means, stopping people, searching their trunk, and discovering ammo, is pure harassment, and of...
I got that same email.
Reminds of years ago I paid for a lifetime saltwater license...
Then for reasons I've forgotten, NY decided they didn't want to do that after all, and sent me my money back.
I don't have much faith in NY being able to use the revenue "...to enhance recreational saltwater...
I'd like to see the facts, data points, or source where they came up with this:
"Since the implementation of this new law to protect New Yorkers from gun violence or any other form of harm, shootings are down approximately 26 percent across the state in the last year."
Ohh, that's right...

Sent a letter to my Representative asking why they are not signed on to the letter, and why they are doing NOTHING to support and defend my Constitutional rights.
I know, I know, it's spitting into the wind, but it makes me feel better not going quietly.
I wish.
I mean, I think you are correct in principle .... the restrictions have been deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, but as is all too common in the empire state, the powers in place feel they can ignore such things, and do whatever TF they want.
Suffolk County (and Nassau County)...
@ecarfar , you are on Long Island? Suffolk County? SCPD Yaphank is your jurisdiction?
Do you have a CCW license or a Sportsman?
Sportsman is still 5 years. A CCW was changed to 3 years.
This thread has focused on CCW licenses, which now require renewal/recertification every 3 years.
FUKH
I think you're giving the media too much credit.
I suspect that to any person with little to no knowledge about guns, the word "jam" just means it didn't fire when they pulled the trigger.
You're analyzing it in it's correct definition, and of course you are probably right; not a "jam", the...
Same here. Ordered a case of these today: Belom 9mm Luger Ammo 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket - Ammo Deals
just to stock up on range practice ammo. If they keep shipping to my door after 9/1, I'm signing up for prime.
Hi. New to this forum.
My name is Steve, and I'm in Western Suffolk County on Long Island.
Just got my pistol license in March, and my first pistol in April.
I've been putting that off for decades, so it feels good to have finally taken care of it.
Looking forward to learning from you folks.
