That's correct and all three charges depend on unlawful possession which we did not think was proven.

The 4th Department is not a friendly place for the 2nd Amendment as I have found so that's in there for further appeals. The core of the case is poor jury instructions. That's not a technicality and that's our best chance to win on appeal.

Thanks all. The Gurnett case raises the same issues but is now in the US Supreme Court on a writ (motion for permission to appeal). That was a revocation case that went through the state courts. That fund has barely covered costs so the attorneys have not been paid anything at this point.

That case was funded by 50 people putting up 100 dollars. Take a look at the defendants' lawyers, the State AG and three huge corporate firms including Cravath!

BTW, a lot of the corruption and corruption trials grow out of that 5-2 tossing aside of the constitutional ban on corporate subsidies.
