On the coyote from 1975 - (2 posts above) - S. U. was doing a study at the time and they requested hunters to send in coyote skulls. This one was skinned, and the head sent to S.U. - Results proved it to be pure coyote. The good part was, the skinned head was left in a small, black trash bag...
