Green tips never group well for me out of my BCM 14.5'' barrel so i havent purchased anymore since i dont plan on shooting at helmets anytime soon.
The 77gr IMI Podmonkey mentioned I love, just too expensive compared to handloading 75gr hornady BTHPs
Exactly - this is the same reason why rangers always remind campers to put away food and cooking supplies over night.
If a bear were to wonder into camp and pick up a cast iron skillet sitting next to the fire. Consider any pistol round useless....
I have thought of going that route, butif I was going to do 40 or 357sig as carry i would buy the subcompact conversion kit for my p320. The narrower glocks dont fit my hand well
Completely understand.
In 10mm I would be running the following
2 legs = 135gr HP rounds to avoid over penetration
Woods = 200gr hard cast Buffalo bore
damn that crazy
I wouldnt feel comfortable with my 9mm against a big human on PCP.
So i sure wouldnt trust it facing a mamma grizz charging me, esp loaded with 10 rounds (FUAC)
.
The g29/30 really isnt a subcompact, its similar in size to the g19 with a thicker/heavier slide & shorter handle.
It is def bigger then its subcompact friend the g26
That's one of the reasons I want the 45 for EDC along with the fact i already have a couple k rounds of 45 but no 45 firearms
Also the non SF gen4 g30/29 has a heavy slide which helps mitigate recoil & a full size really offers no benefit to me in NY being limited to 10rds, velocity difference...
Hey guys I know most of you will say buy both but hear me out.
First a couple things to note
- I reload so ammo costs arent an issue
- I do not want to buy both at this point
My thought on the g30 was i was looking for something smaller then my p320 compact to EDC, only problem is i have...
Just read a different article
Getaway driver turned herself in and was charged with 3 counts 1st degree murder with her friends being killed
All intruders were under the age of 18
I am curious if they knew the young man whose house they broke into.
I asked Cuomo if 3 armed intruders broke into your home would you feel comfortable being limited to ten rounds or having a fixed mag.
He replied why would thugs break into my home?
1. I pay for their food & housing
2. Criminals dont steel from criminals
confusing a 22lr spent case with a loaded shotgun shell paints a pretty picture of the people they are dealing with at the school.
How do they know he didnt find it in the school? maybe it was stuck to someones shoe, I have come home from the range with them stuck in my boots a few times.
When...
Favorite Pistol load for 9mm
Pistol
Sig P320 Compact
Barrel = Stock 3.9 inch with approx 7200 rounds through it
Bullet = Xtreme 135gr Flat point plated sized to.357
Powder = Titegroup @ 3.628 grains (avg of 10 drops from the dillon)
Primer = WSP

When I am trying to conceal with light clothing or i know i wont be sweating i use my kaydex appendix holster @ 1 o'clock
If I am going to be outdoors in the heat & sweating, like doing yardwork or hiking i wear my IWB holster at 4 o'clock by stealthgear
I couldnt recommend the stealthgear...
I cant wait to shoot the p10
having both the PPQm2 4inch and the p320 compact I love them both, trigger/reset on the PPQ is better but personally shot the p320 faster/more accurate which i why i carry the 320.
Cant go wrong with either, but i would wait to shoot the p10 as well before you...
One way to say he was wrong (which i like saying)
But the lower prices helped him with his sanctions on Russia forcing them to feel some more pain as their economy benefited greatly from the higher oil price, same with Iran, big OPEC players know what they are doing with a squeeze.
As well his...
i think your issue is the rifling of the pistol barrel, while im sure you can change the powder charge to get velocity with a lighter/longer projectile idk if a printed projectile will withstand the spin along with the direct exposure to powder.
Shotgun isnt a problem with its lower pressure...
my 1:7 BCM ELW 14.5'' barrel loves these over 21.5gr TAC
I always crimp, never an issue but enjoy the piece of mind since i usually leave these loose in an ammo can then grab handfuls into ziplock bags for the range
How long until there is a robot tax?
Willing to bet soon corporations will be required to pay a tax on machines they use to replace "high" labor employees to help slow the conversion process.
Hope those funds dont end up in Coumos spending "budget"
My case prep for 223 is as follows
I use the Harvey depriming tool to deprime Home Page
Remove any crimps
I then wet tumble and dry, then lube with a homemade lube
Size cases and retumble to remove lube
Trim if needed.
Glad your OK airborne
Just read the daily news article, seems these guys were all from a pretty wealthy upbringing and thought they could get away with anything. They are lucky that they got away with their lives.
Saw pictures of the AR, funny how much tactical stuff people throw on them...
Good quote at the end more none 2nd amendment ppl need to understand
"Defensive gun use. It’s what keeps the good guys breathing and makes sure the bad guys have to really think about what they’re trying to do before they do it."
here is the thread : CT Resident - Wanting to get rid of my 22LR Ammo - RimfireCentral.com Forums
Doesnt look like much info, i've been buying 22 lately at around 7 cents a round all in and it hasnt been hard to come by. Unless this guy was selling for less then 5cents a round seems like a lot...
I like those Winchesters along with all the CCIs, only 22s I have had issues with are the thunderbolts which are what I mostly see on the shelves here in Westchester
Hopefully, heard I think TNT who is always at the Albany show has good deals, if they arent at the Westchester show (or if they somehow dont have it ) I might just make the drive to Albany
Yea the other side would give us a better idea
From what i have seen personally reloading SPP I have found from hardest to soft
Wolf
CCI
Winchester
Remington ( i dont use anymore since my p320 pierces these)
CCI used to be one of the more expensive of the bunch but now is most affordable...
Weird, i never had an issues with my CCI primers, i have been using winchesters lately as I got a good deal and they def seem softer so i would think it was a light strike on the CCIs rather then a primer issue but u never know
Sorry guys i didnt see the other thread.
I just read my email and spit my coffee out in frustration and figured I would let you all share the same experience
I'm interested as well
Was watching a discovery show the other night where the guy made a sword as a xmas gift for his families secret Santa. Was pretty cool seeing the old school blacksmithing techniques along with all the craftsmanship in the details.
I'm in for 223 !
I have to sort out all the brass i dont reload, if i get picked I will do the same for a different caliber, maybe we can keep it going if we all do that
