Guy pulls in his driveway after noticing a SUV following him. SUV speeds up and rams him. Maintains control of firearm and responds accordingly after being hit. Wild to see Hollywood IRL.
After some quick searching I wasn't able to find out conclusively one way or the other. This would be in regards to while one duty of course. Best i could find were bills in the legislature regarding a variety of different things.
Don't remember the article, but CA is considering a law to allow illegals first time home buyers credit to purchase homes.
Huh. Wonder who's going to pay for it?
The last republican to win NY was reagan. There is a less than 1% chance the democratic machine in NY will fail. Similarly in CA. I would be incredible if he pulled it off, a miracle if for both but more likely the sun will rise in the west.
My bet is to look east, even as I vote for trump.
Please rearrange the final question. I'm confused honestly by it. Attorneys are appointed for free so I'm lost what scenario your trying to portray.
And noone is charged a 600 dollar fee to express thier opinion, nor do they require an 18 hour class to do so. The first ammendment only exists...
Did a huge portion of the population have thier ability to achieve a license increase or did that right become further limited by way of massive cost increases?
I would have to argue that the same roadblocks exist but the goalposts moved to a financial burden VS a state burden.
The second article is interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are a PA resident you could now apply for a NYS permit in a county bordering ny? That's a wonderful can of worms sincerely. I have both so not much of a difference for me, but that could open the floodgates for PA residents...

An update. She was found guilty. Her husband will stand trial next.
Decent article that outlines all the pitfalls of this case for everyone.
I hoped this would spark discussions. I wasn't wrong. There are many layers to this onion to peel for sure. Parental rights, school responsibility, gun free zones, government oversight. It's near endless opportunity of views

I find this trouble in a lot if ways for the parents, the school and government in general. The situation above is tragic but as is in many situations thier...
In thinking about this a bit more it would be legal in NYS also ( in defense of a 3rd party, a stretch but technically legal) but I wouldn't even fathom attempting it in the NYS justice system.
What's interesting is the response of people in the post action interviews which shows Texas citizens thoughts on what happened.
This would not be the same in NY.
Ps- the first guy post incident interview is pretty cool.
wonder what the actual cconversion rate will be to permits. Due to the extra cost of live fire training my guess would be significantly less than half. Sad honestly
Originator of the Glock pistol passed Wednesday @ 94. Within the article is some background that was pretty interesting.
Dude was a little badass.

I agree with you regarding thier past practices, but they left the proverbial door open to interpretation most likely due to corporate ignorance to interstate laws. It simply provided an option I used.
Kind of an off topic thing here but oddly I began shopping ( sparingly) at Walmart after the CCIA was passed. Reason? The sign on the front door that states " Please refrain from open carrying firearms in the store ". My interpretation was open carrying ( illegal in NY prior the the CCIA anyway)...
Personally I have and most likely will vote for trump strictly to avoid the potential of another 4 years of Biden. He has been and continue to be a disaster. The most likely scenario is trump gets the nomination since all others fall far behind in polling. If it was my choice I wish desantis...
The school district I pay for recently put an electric school bus in the budget ( which , as always I voted no on). Current they are out shopping for the "new and shiny ". What an embarrassment. Christ, we just got finished building an auditorium for millions.
Used 3x a year. What a waste...
As stated, some assumptions are required.
1) Trump wins the nomination in 2024
2) Trump wins the general in 2024, ending his second term.
3) DeSantis reruns for president in 2028
To the best of my limited knowledge, a no firearms sign carries no weight of law other than trespassing. It's presence wouldn't constitute some reinstatement of some portions of any CCIA.
And concealed is, well, concealed.
Lacking knowledge as to who was the initial aggressor, but based solely on the video,
Self defense.
Ps- defined distance from the altercation within reason shouldn't be the key factor making this a murder charge. Ex 5 feet to 20 feet.
In a split second, the defender doesn't know if his...
Life's full of those circumstances.
Homeowners insurance
Car insurance
Fire extinguishers
Health insurance
Bet you have at least 2 of them. Going to cancel any of them? Doubtful. Stop carrying? Nah, it's insurance.
Bit deeper info. Mom legally owned gun. Good shoot for defense of 3rd party by son, but I agree pursuing him with additional shots after initial defense is questionable.
Once the male became physical, I could see it becoming self defense of a 3rd party ( albeit that 3rd party needs to be innocent, and in this, to me, is questionable). Imo- the self defense ended @ the door. Pursuit after the initial engagement ended ends the self defense claim.
I was not raised around guns yet they weren't vilified in my house as a child. It wasn't until I was an adult that I became interested in them within the last 4 years or so. It's brought about an interesting division within the family between my wife's family and mine regarding the grandkids. My...
