I think that is just about the best Summary I have ever read of the Muslim vs. rest of the world relationship I have ever read. Spot on and agree completely.
I have the Lyman Gen 5 and love it. I load both rifle and pistol, and have had no issues of waiting for the dispenser, you just adjust your “procedure” so you are doing some other operation while powder is dispensing, such as cleaning the next primer pocket, and inserting the next shell. You...
I know this is a little late for the OP, but I have problems with all 4 of my MFT mags. The follower rides forward and misses the the bolt catch, not holding the bolt back after the last round. They do this regardless of which mag or which gun I have out.
I have 4 MFT mags that do the same thing. The follower rides just forward enough that it does not catch the bolt catch tang. Has anyone else experienced this with MFT mags? BTW, its not the gun as this happens with all my ARs, and P-mags work fine.
Thanks for the link, but I've googled the snot out of this and already come across this. What I would like is actual published data with min and max loads, acceptable powders, max pressures, etc. with whatever bullet is selected. I can appreciate anecdotal suggestions from other peoples work...
I have recently acquired a Winchester 1894 in 32-40. I've got several hundred rounds of ammo, but need reload data for the future. Both of my Lyman books, 47th and 49th additions do not have this caliber listed. Was hoping someone here might have an older book with this caliber included, that...
He mentions in his description that bump stocks are already illegal to attach to semi auto guns. I was unaware of this. Does anyone know the law that states this?
Maybe I shouldn't say this, but in reality, if you really want one they are not hard to build. Lots of examples on You Tube, and I will make no further comment than that.
I know we were all born knowing rifles inside and out, how to work on them, how to fix them, what makes them tick, but some people have a bit of a learning curve and maybe a bit of trepidation and seek out someone they feel may know a bit more than themselves about a certain topic.
Not hypothetical. completely true. He was going to change the extractor himself, just took the rifle with him in quest for part. Gunshop did replace extractor, but took the opportunity to feed him a bunch of info that I don't believe is true.
Miles,
No problem. Thing is this gunshop owner has scared him so badly that he is now going to buy a stripped lower and rebuild his rifle with it, because he scared of being caught off his property with an unserialized rifle by the NYSP. Even though he, as I, haven't been able to find that...
I'm sorry, I apparently worded the question poorly. I don't really care about repairing the rifle. Here is the question again without the story of the circumstance.
Is anyone aware of any NYS law that would prohibit someone from building, possessing, utilizing, shooting, owning, hunting with...
Focus people!! Disregard the circumstance. Focus on the question. I appreciate and agree on the opinions on how the rifle should have been fixed, but it doesn't help with the answer to my question.
Funny you mention the range, as that was one of the statements that he made was that it would not be allowed at any ranges. I found that hard to believe also. But I have been uninformed before.
My neighbor recently assembled his first AR, using an 80% lower that he completed. After running a couple hundred rounds thru it, he broke the extractor. In an attempt to find a part locally he visited a local gun shop. The proprietor of the gun shop informed him since it was not serialized...
Check this out, the really interesting part and title of thread starts at 5:30. Looks like the Californians came up with a better FUJB than we did a FUAC. Hopefully the price comes down a bit as production gears up.
Also the new brasslesss brass looks pretty interesting. Think I may order me...
Here is the other side.
There are a couple of petitions below in the description block, that I would encourage anyone who hasn't to sign, though it will never matter in this communist state. However should any one of us have a chance to relocate it may help increase the odds of moving to a...
I was left eye dominant as a kid through early teens. Always had issues sighting guns and closing left eye. Didn't really know why until I saw a movie back then I think was called Firebirds about an Apache pilot who couldn't fly well using the helmet mounted HUD. I some how retrained myself...
I stopped at my lgs today. He told me that several of his suppliers just notified him that right around the corner, probably next week, ammo prices are going to have a significant increase. Don't know the exact reason given for this though.
My neighbor bought the Savage Axis in 308 about the same time I bought a Ruger American 308. He has had an issue since the day he bought it where the recoil unlocks the mag, and it drops just enough that it won't pick up another round. He told savage about it and they sent him another mag, but...
Check her out. She's from upstate NY, her father taught school at Moravia. Very fine shooter, and champion. A great role model for the younger female generation.

Liberty FatBoy, in basement, picked this after doing extensive research on fire rating, and security rating. Didn't go with digital lock , preferred the old combo style. Call me paranoid, but do you think the battery operated digital are going to open after an EMP, they will be fried. Have...
Its not too bad, my finger on the trigger is a little bit of an odd angle, but its a CMC trigger, so the pull is fairly light, which helps. Also all the shooting Ive done with it is off of the bi-pod, nothing freestanding. The actual feel of the grip in hand is good, with lots of...
It still must be a NY thing. I was in Cabelas in Dayton Ohio over the summer. There were shelves full of 22, all brands, all sizes from 50 packs to bricks, for reasonable prices. Needless to say I bought a couple thousand rounds, and i didn't even feel guilty for "hoarding", plenty left for...
My first "build" Anderson upper, w/ 24 barrel 1/8. Optics are Nikon P223, 4-12X40. Been exercising her out 2 just shy of 400 yards.
And don't mind Kimber the Cat. She insisted on posing for the pic, even though I shooed her away a half dozen times.

My wife just brought this to my attention, and I could not find it listed here already.
Targeted: One Night Event September 29
The trailer looks very interesting, unfortunately its in only selected theaters for one night. However wifey says...
Leaked FBI Data Reveal 7,700 Terrorist Encounters in USA in One Year; Border States Most Targeted
By this info, there are way more issues than the government has ever let on to. Note that NY is one of the red states for having a high number of encounters.
