Imagine the cascading effect. How many mortgage payments, car payments, cell phone bills, etc are pulled from bank accounts automatically? Now all those loans go into default. How about paychecks with direct deposit? Does your paycheck just go into a black hole that you'll get access to...
I think they're waiting for the gov to be their scapegoat. YouTube will likely lose a lot of ad income if people get mad at them for restricting content on their own. The number of views will drop like a pair of Cuomo pants.
A 'ghost gun' wasn't used in the Parkland shooting. Biden could make it 100% impossible for 'ghost guns' to exist, and this horrible crime would have still occurred. It's the shooter's fault.
I don't use it so I have no horse in the race, but it seems pretty simple to me. Tax it as you would any other product sold in the state. If Nike or Coke comes up with a new product, regular sales tax applies. It should be the same for this legal item. Anything else is just going to continue...
I must have missed it in the article- How many crimes were committed last year in CT with pistol braced firearms? That number must be HUGE if they are banning them.
Here's the important part of the article:
"Around 50,000 to 55,000 households in the city own guns, meaning the city can expect to make about $1.3 million on the new fees, according to the San Jose Spotlight."
Rough life...
"The money Mosby received allegedly went toward the purchase of two vacation homes in Florida, and she is also charged with making false statements on the mortgage applications, according to the indictment."
The sad part is the people who fund the case against the gov will be also be paying for the gov's defense. The people who wrote and passed the law will suffer no repercussions.
I find it funny when everyone was calling businesses with 100 employees 'large'. The article says there are 200,000 Starbucks employees in the US. What do you call that?
That's funny, on July 23 Jen Psaki said it's not the role of the federal gov't to mandate vaccines:

Next up: Will Hochul make a mandate and our tax dollars pay to defend her as we sue her?
That first paragraph should read:
"American taxpayers could be in for a “frustrating season” when it comes to filing their taxes this year due to delays caused by the government, Treasury Department officials warned on Monday."
The government will cause the delays, not 'covid'.
I'm sure no prisoner in for multiple life sentences would ever cut off a guard's finger to use the fingerprint to unlock the guard's gun. That's just wrong.
I wonder if anyone happened to mention to SCOTUS that the majority of deaths from covid are people who are well beyond the typical working age.
Here's an important footnote from the CDC link below. No one has to prove the patient had covid:
'[1] Deaths with confirmed or presumed COVID-19...
In regards to hospitals, I keep hearing commercials about how Ohio ICU's are 'overrun' by covid patients. Well, according to the Ohio Hosp Assoc, only 1 in 3 patients are in the ICU 'with' covid (not necessarily due to covid).

Someone should play this on a big screen on the Senate floor when he brings this up for a vote. But I don't know if any R's have enough balls to do that.
"Microstamping is one of the most powerful tools we can provide law enforcement to stop crime & gun violence. "
So, If I'm reading this correctly, if I own a gun that microstamps the brass, and it's stolen, the thief won't be able to kill anyone with it because the microstamp will 'stop crime &...
Looks like it's working in places like San Fran, might as well bring it to NYC. Here's the best one:
"Armed robbers who use guns or other deadly weapons to stick up stores and other businesses will be prosecuted only for petty larceny, a misdemeanor, provided no victims were seriously injured...
I agree in that people shouldn't be lying about being vaccinated, but I have to disagree with the 'if going out to dinner or a Bill's game is so important get vaccinated' part.
If we're going to be forced to get vaccinated because it's safe and works so well, then the vaccinated people at those...
I'm sure the approval rate is much higher in Beverly Hills, even though the criminal records of the applicants may not be quite as clean as 'normal' people who apply and get denied.
I've belonged to two unions. Both held back my career and income. My pay and position are now based on my performance, not some chart/job title. I'm much better off and never plan to be part of a union again.
