I can make it work with my flat face Apex kit. I just put a piece of folded over boxboard between the mechanism and the trigger bar and it stays the whole time I'm using it.

I own one, they were at a match I attended and I bought one at a discount.
You can make adjustments to it to mimic the breaking point and trigger weight of your gun. While it does feel different, it's pretty damn good.
Unless you have a DAO handgun, how can you possibly be just dry firing...
