I actually saw a bench blasting cabinet on Harbor Freight for cheap. I guess that and a 135 psi 3 gallon tank compressor would be the same price if I paid someone to do it for me.
Just want to strip the cerakote off the barrel and frame. I want to keep the slide black.
One way is very tedious. Someone on the Girsan Reddit group used 600 grit sandpaper to get off most of the cerakote, then went finer and finer and eventually polished it up. It actually came out very nice.
No contact number. They weren't even any help when I asked them what sights were compatible. i had to ask because I had heard they didn't use the typical Novak cut.
Can anyone recommend a good way to remove the coating off an aluminum frame? I'm not sure what is coated with. I was thinking of stripping the paint off my Girsan 2011 frame.
Really surprised that a Greek is a democrat, the vast majority of them are conservatives but the douche also represents Astoria which is full of liberal and progressive scum.
I took a chance and ordered some Tritium sights off Amazon for the Brat. I had heard that the Brat didnt use typical 1911/2011 sight cuts but these worked perfectly fine. Much better than the junk white dot sights.

But if NYS legislature convenes an emergency session to fuck the 2A community over again, maybe it will be the tipping point for Bondi and SCOTUS to take a real hard look at NY and its unconstitutional practices.
Used JB compound bore cleaner on the slide rails, top of the ejector, and on the slide disconnector rail. Took the recoil assembly and barrel out, racked it back and forth about 400 times applying more compound every 50 racks. The slide is butter smooth now.
Ordered a 4.6" 10 lb flat recoil...
The only reason this is seen as a big deal is because the media says so—and it involves the political elite. If you think there's no caste system in America, you're not paying attention. We're all just serfs in their empire.
Our Republic began to erode as the federal government expanded its reach.
Pleaseeee, it takes ALOT more than that to offend me.
Most Korean businesses wouldn't put up with that bullshit. There would be no tolerance from the older generation with that bullshit. All the younger generation of Koreans unfortunately are huge bleeding heart clowns.
90% of the Gen X...
I was thinking about polishing the front of the rail inside the slide that rides the disconnector. I heard that this smooth the slide a lot more. Any 1911/2011 users have any feedback on this?
I had to take the Checkmate mags to the vice. They were not sliding out freely so I gave them 2 1/2 turns on the vice to thin them up a little with no interference with the follower, works like a charm now.

Got (4) TTi 4mm weighted base...
Finished!
The grip and trigger pull is amazing now.
Also had to remove some material under the grip safety, and slightly in the trigger bow channel above and below the trigger to smooth it out.
The most important part was under the grip safety where the bottom of the grip goes into the hammer...
Removing factory grip. The magazine release was a little tight in the Cosaint Arms 2011 grip, had to remove a minor amount of material with a 10 ppi round file.
Stripped the trigger assembly - don't nerf the sear, sear spring, disconnector, and hammer/strut assembly.
Nighthawk Customs drop-in trigger system installed along with the DTS spring.
Removed material off the Red Dirt trigger bow to make it free float better in the Cosaint Arms 2011...
Took about 45 minutes of filing and fitment for the WC ejector. I used a triangular file 10 ppi to cut the notch to accommodate the roll pin that retains the new ejector.
Polished the top of the ejector with 400, then 500, and finished with 600 grit sand paper.
These fuckers better not start in my neighborhood. They fuck with my family and home, things will go south REAL fast. I'll make the Marines look like alter boys if these protesters rioters go full retard.
9mm, I already have a Kimber Pro Raptor II in 45 ACP.
Wouldn't want a shortie that small in 45 ACP anyway. I already got my wrist breaker in the form of a DEagle, haha.
Thank God I checked out the trigger and grip. I had to do some filing to areas of the trigger bow to make it free float in the grip.
Used a dremel on very slow speed to take a little material off the top and bottom of trigger channel on the grip. The trigger bow I went at it with fine tooth...
Accidentally swept someone at an open range with my Glock 37 when I was trying to get out a stuck casing.
I had already dropped the mag and the round was already fired but I still felt like a complete idiot. I apologized to the old man and explained the gun wasn't hot.
There is also a larger issue at hand as well. Stunts like this can sway the moderate conservatives or moderate democrats who closet voted for Trump to go the other direction in 2026 and can cost us the House.
That was a different time when being 15 meant being a man. XY's who are biologically 30 aren't fit to be classified as a man these days. And I call them XY's because many aren't fit to be called a men/man.
I love Trump but seriously, what the fuck...

When I get bored, I got thru my screwed up brass and turn them into key chains. Does anyone else do this?
I recently trimmed down a 45-70 casing (damaged from a bad press) to 1.6500 and dropped a bullet into it. Gonna drill out the primer and put in a in eye loop screw.
Just wondering if I'm...
