Here is what happened to me in Monroe County about 3 years ago
I was told the Pistol Permit Office can handle private transfers, so my friend the seller and I the buyer went to the office together to do the transfer.
The clerk removed the gun from friends permit. Then asked me for my updated...
This has been done before.
My first house was built in 1975 during a gas ban.
I forgot how wide spread the ban was but I lived in Rochester suburb.
950 sq ft raised ranch. Cost a small fortune to heat with electric base board.
Second house 2 miles away, built in 1962, gas fired boiler, 2200 sq...

Yes you still need the Brady check done if it is a private sale.
How do I know?
The last few years my pistols came from a ffl
A couple of months ago I bought a gun from a friend.
We went to the clerck together to do the transfer and
Because the last time I did the Brady check was about 10 years...
I call the guy I used a few years ago a Coffee Table FFL.
That's where he worked, in the living room, at the coffee table.
But that was not out of disrespect.
It's warm in the winter, any non magnum pistol, available 24/7 unless an event is
going on, I do shoot 22lr and some pellet. It's easy for me to get to.
It's not to costly.
For me the positives out way the negatives.
I also belong to Ontario Rod and Gun Club for the benefits of a longer...
You could buy this
Polymer80, 80% Pistol Frame V.1 BLack

Glock Carbine Conversion Unit - MechTech Systems, Inc. MADE IN USA
Along with whatever other parts needed and don't finish the lower
Until if/when it is needed.

This is the procedure I use.
There are other videos showing the same procedure.
To get my first shot on paper, I use either my bore sighter or remove the bolt to look down the barrel. Or as was said above get the biggest
piece of paper you can find to see that first shot.
I have done this...
Everyone, on the last day, send by certified mail, incomplete forms. Maybe just name and address.
Let them sort the mess out. We shouldn't have to do their job for them.
They, as in the State, want the info let them contact each and every one of Us for it.
I hate that term "ghost gun".
That idiot from California said it and the media runs with it.
Shut down Home Depot. All the parts to build a gun are available there.
This right here. They know how to keep the money flowing. They will come back and have the funds for
Chelsea and future generations of Clinton corruption.
In the meantime I wouldn't doubt they work with Soros and Blumberg behind the scenes.
They still have their anti 2A agenda.
I am sure...
I belong to an indoor and an outdoor gun club with similar rules on this.
If carrying concealed it must remain holstered until you are at the firing line.
Otherwise action open, unloaded, and cased until at the line.
The way I look at It no matter how bad my shooting is or
if I have an equipment malfunction it's still
better than being at work.
Except for the day about 30 years ago I forgot to put the sights back on the rifle I needed
to sight in. That day sucked. And it was the last time I forgot anything...
