You can put a brace on a shockwave. Just not the folding ones. Once folded it's less than 26". The atf at one point said to measure with it fully extended. Now they changed there mind and want it measured while folded.

Only short barrel black powder you can own and shoot in NY State is a cannon. If it fires with a trigger pull it illegal, but if it fires with a wick it's ok.
