So been about four months since my last bloodwork. Saw doc this am said my numbers look great. Lowered bad cholesterol almost 50% to 67, which is now in normal range. Total cholesterol down nearly one-third to 122. Glucose still borderline high but down 8 pts. Improvement in other numbers...
Feel free to explore whatever hypothetical scenarios you want but the fact remains Trump was acquitted and not convicted. I agree if he had been convicted the remedy would likely have been limited to removal from office and perhaps disqualification from holding future office. However if that...
Yep seems that's correct learn something new everyday... but I'm no lawyer. He was acquitted and not convicted so not sure how that works but you're probably right.
But he was actually impeached for insurrection AND acquitted by Congress... would think he would also have Fifth amendment protection against double jeopardy and being charged again no?
I'm sure @kev74 has given you the best advice but if it were me I'd hit it with a little heat from a micro torch or heat gun to see if it frees up before anything else.
Have no idea how old my can is but it does say it contains PTFE which is generic Teflon, no? Did they change formula?
ETA looks like container posted by @Mosinitis contains PTFE as well.
Yeah I know that it was just really wet more than just a film so wasn't sure if it would be OK or not. I looked at them today and seems most of the excess dried up.
Thanks guys I was more concerned about dropping the gun in the snow... dumba$$$ lol. To it's credit it ran fine. Ruger LC9 slide was locked back and inside of back of slide got packed with snow. I banged as much of it out as I could and ran a mag through it seemed to dry it right up lol...
I think it's fine but just wanted to check. Finally did some shooting after a long break. Dropped one of my guns in about 10" of snow ugh. I'm at my buddy's place and only had some CLP with me. I disassembled and cleaned up all the guns last night but there is a fair amount of CLP left on...
LMAO my FIL used to do the same thing. He'd trap them in his screened in porch, spray their tails florescent orange then take them to a state park a few miles away and release them. He wanted to know if the ones he kept catching were coming back...
Yeah part of the problem is I'm a very fussy eater. Don't eat chicken or eggs (some eggs if included in something else but hardly ever by themselves) don't like milk or pretty much anything "creamy" so eat cereal dry for example. Haven't been eating a lot of cheese just a few slices off a...
Not sure if this is right place for this or if I should start a new thread but figured I'd let you fellas know what I've been up to. Been focusing pretty hard on getting healthier (or at least slowing down becoming unhealthier lol). Pretty much gave up alcohol say "pretty much" because I had a...
Must be an elaborate hoax then I posted link to Washington Post article from Feb 2021 when it (supposedly?) happened. The deputy was cleared of any wrongdoing in June 2021. There are articles about that too if you look for them.
Pretty sure that's an old video or very similar to another encounter. Surprised LEO didn't put one between his eyes to stop the threat. Lucky he wasn't hit with that post could of ended badly.
ETA yeah 2021...
I know you want wifi but would strongly recommend going with a wired system. Works when internet is down, not broadcasting your data, no batteries to change, can't slow down your internet connection for TV, web browsing, etc if streaming multiple HD images. I just think wired is a better...
My brother called me a few months ago and wanted to give me his Kimber 1911 as well as a few others. As much as I appreciated the offer and would have liked to have had his gun I respectfully passed. He gave them to his friend who lives in FL. FUKH.
Pretty much what I was going to say. You can even agree that they are his to do whatever he wants until his passing then they transfer to you. I'd have him write a letter and keep it in the safe.
I worked with one of the guys I knew who was killed in 9-11 at a previous job that he recently left to work in WTC. Super nice guy, fairly young late 20s-early 30s really bright outlook on life in general always dotted his "i"s and crossed his "t"s. Glass was half full sort of guy. He was in...
Well weather cooled off a bit got most of the cameras installed. Got one more to put up outside its already wired. Pretty happy with them esp driveway it's pretty dark outside and the cars light up pretty good. Haven't seen them in daylight yet. This is just a temporary monitor to get them...
Pistol grip is not an evil feature on shotgun in NY but there are certain configurations that would make it a no go within NY. M4 is GTG with 7 round tube and "fixed" stock (including pistol grip).
I had an M4 loved it. Unfortunately had to sell due to financial reasons I'd buy another in a heartbeat. Another member from this site (or the former site) recommended some modifications to stock configuration. I replaced 5 round tube with 7 round titanium tube from Freedom Fighter Tactical...
It seems to be a success! Lined up pretty perfectly all around. I put a pretty good sized bead of urethane all around so not expecting any problems but will have to test it tomorrow. Going to hold off on putting trim back until after it cures. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be...
Haven't installed cameras yet been too freaking hot up in the attic.
My windshield finally came today. Bought some glass knifes for my Fein Supercut old glass came out much easier than I expected. Unfortunately found some rust along top of windshield. Bought some POR 15 and painted the rust...
That's the set I have Pro S they are awesome. I have a set of "matching" steak knifes but don't recall if they're actually Henckels or not (they may be Wusthof). In any event, nothing particularly impressive about the steak knifes but the actual chefs knifes are great.
I'm kinda old school so take this for what it's worth. Not saying other brands and/or materials are any better or worse. But I've had a set of Henckles pro s traditional knives with full tang and rivets for at least past 20 years (unfortunately they have been packed away for past several years...
Thanks brother it's been eating me alive going on 5+ yrs now. Funny thing is I love the guy ever since he was 5 and i feel sorry for him. He don't even know it. He's got serious issues that I can't help and pretty much written him off. I really don't want to cause any stress in his life and...
I'll try to heat it up and transfer. Old sticker was 2 or 3 months out of date not too keen on compliance with NY insp laws as of late. Just another tax IMHO. Wife had hers done too same day.... about a month out of date. Apparently she's more concerned than I am and I probably would not...
Pretty sure I can go to place where I got insp done show them receipt and get a new sticker. If not no biggie the $37 is least of my concerns at the moment.
You know what I just got new insp that same day f'er... reg expires in Aug so not so bad lol. Hardest part for me is biting my tongue when my son knows, my wife believes and my MIL outright denies (or refuses to believe) who is responsible. Like I said earlier, it's complicated.
I "think"...
Thanks brother. Been a while but actually have a little experience with this I used to help out one of my buddies in an auto body shop... but admittedly this was going back to when they first started using urethane instead of rubber gaskets lol.
Just checked (online so take it for what it's worth) but only AZ and KY have mandatory glass coverage. NY can offer full coverage (no deductible) as part of comprehensive but it's not free (meaning you have to pay a premium for glass to be covered).
Only experience I have with them is my buddy, who has a NY security systems license, told me to hardwire them. I'm sure the wifi cameras work fine though, provided your internet is up.
F it, I ordered the OEM windshield from Ford and will install it myself. Ordered 3M windshield urethane, primer and new wiper blades from NAPA. $440 all in (shipping, tax, etc) about $85 cheaper than Safelite (before tip) but at least I'll know how it was installed lol. Kinda pissed at...
Ha my 115# lab normally goes bonkers whenever anybody approaches the house or even is walking down the street. Not a peep out of her. But they were shooting off fireworks and we were having thunder storms so she probably had had enough by 2 or 3 am when we think it happened. Woke my wife up...
