‘How Did We Not Know?’ Gun Owners Confront a Suicide Epidemic

I normally hate linking to the NY Slimes but I came across it and thought I'd share. The article's tone towards guns isn't quite as bad as other ones from the paper but it's still clearly anti-gun. Having said that, suicide, which makes up the vast majority of firearms related deaths, is an issue.

I guess this is just a long way of saying, if you know someone who owns firearms and needs help, be a pal and help them out. If you're the one who needs the help reach out to another firearm owning pal for help too. We're all in this together.

Didn't read the articles but some personal experience with this. Family member taking one of those medications that lists "suicidal ideations" or such as a side effect. Combined with other things in life, I guess it was too much.

If blaming guns... Then cars, trains, bridges, chemicals, drugs, tall buildings, waterway's, bathtubs, belts, rope (w/chairs too), alcohol, and many many more things would need to be added to the list!

It's not the method chosen that is significant... Just sayin!
