Cuomo believed there would be a need for tens of thousands more ventilators and ICU beds than were needed. That's a fact from his own mouth.

He is a sick bastard who was blinded by his own sociopathic ego and the media attention praising "his decisiveness." Cuomo enjoyed playing god to save ventilators and beds for younger patients (ignoring the unused Javits Center and Hope because Trump was involved) by " making the command decision to decisively" sentence the elderly nursing home residents to a certain lonely gasping death.

Cuomo is a spineless coward and has never taken responsiblity for his actions, unless he thought there was a reward in it for him.
