I know this is a long shot but might as well put it up.
Have an '01 Blazer LT that needs to go so I get my wife something older to drive. I'll start with the bad, the transmission decided it wanted nothing to do with reverse yesterday after her visit with her surgeon. In the driveway it was sounding pretty ratty. Drove it to my buddy's junkyard to get a spare tire for my truck and it decided it no longer likes to shift until 4800rpm. Now it only has 1st and 2nd lol. Tranny is shot.
Now the good. The body is great, not rotted anywhere, it came from Pa. and the engine rungs great. Fairly new brakes, new rear brake hardware 2 weeks ago, really good Firestone Winterforce tires, new injection spider, new alternator, new TCCM, new encoder motor (still needs cable for front axle), leather interior in nice condition w/heated seats, spare rims for summer tires, new upper control arms (both sides).
I just can't do that kind of work any more and the cheapest mechanic that I know still said it's gonna cost about $2000 for him to do the work. If you do it yourself this would be a great 4x4. I listed it on CL for $2000.
$1500 here.
