I must have missed something in linked article all I saw were two family members demanding compensation and stating they would consider being relocated to US and a small blurb about how US officials are considering compensation and a "way forward"....

I saw it on the news this morning that they were being resettled and compensated here. I googled it quick and found this article. I had to be on the road early so I did t read the entire article.
Im taking the word on CBS news from this morning.
