Fat 1/2 inch using not so accurate instrument it is a little over a 1/2 inch center to center eyeballing it. Using my calipers just now center to center is .542 inches."Fat inch" huh? That's a new one.
The "fat" part is what I find amusing. Half inch groups out of an M14 is amazing! But I guarantee you there is some Call of Duty bench rest hero out there thinking "Ungh! No .25" one hole group= teh sucks!Fat 1/2 inch using not so accurate instrument it is a little over a 1/2 inch center to center eyeballing it.
I have access to 400 yards it may hold its accuracy the load does look promising. 1/2MOA out at 400 is 2 inches. I was shooting in a pretty still crosswind so I am sure my left to right will be off on a calm day. I adjust my zero every day at the range anyway. The "fat" part is what I find amusing. That is an extremely impressive group though. You think it will hold that accuracy out yonder? How far so you have room for again?
