FEMA issued me a "get out of jail free card" and "by-pass all civil and military roadblocks" card years ago and it has a no expiration clause.
I doubt they'll try to round me up. Maybe I should make sure I'm prepared for a drone strike but I'm not likely worth the north of 7 figure price tag that would run, especially if they miss.

Skills that" got me on more than a couple of Emergency Plan contact lists for different kinds of Event Mitgation teams, Event Recovery teams, or as a Technical Laison between Govenment Agencies, Law Enforcent, or Military / National Guard. I also held a not widely found accident evaluator certification as well as some Response Team Director and Manager qualifications. I have also had to appear under oath during judiciary hearings as an expert witness. In a nutshell, passes were issued to me because they wanted to make sure I would be able to get access to an accident or Event scene for a Hazmat Event, mass casualty Event, a crash or near miss sight, or if a higher staffing level Nuclear Emergency Classification was declared. It's not really all that impressive. I had something similar from Ontario Canada also that was issued just after 9/11 but it has expired.

If all hell on Earth breaks loose and we find ourselves in a real SHTF scenario, there will be nearly no FEMA camps. Not going to occur. People can live vicariously through what they see in the Movies, but these FEMA camps will be very few and far between.
People will either die or they will find their inner caveman and become savage.

Last place you and I would be.. But for the masses... Gravitating to the government for help will be the rule not the exception. One month after such an event ... Folks hardly surviving ... What would be a solution... We build refugee camps all over the world .. So will be it here . Perhaps a short term solution . Look at the ice storm in Texas . So many unprepared people ... That was only a small event. .. The masses will look to the government as they lack the skills to survive

I did a decent amount of running around today. I hit BJ's, Tops market, got my coffee and hit a few other stores.
What I saw, like most days out, make me sick.
We live in a Country filled with some of the nastiest people on Earth.
The really big, fat slobs; you know, the ones that are driving in their little store supplied carts.
None of them will make it to the FEMA camps. None.
None of them will survive if Shit really hits the fan in the US.
The heavy drinkers, you can tell who they are when you look at them; they will not make it out of their neighborhoods let alone a FEMA camp.
The junkies, no, not them either. Which I guess is a good thing.
Those Americans that have never walked more than a mile at a time in their adult lives; nope, not going to make it.
Those Americans that spend more on the I phone than on food and water, they will not make it either.
The list is longer of those that will not make it to a camp vs those that will.

No one really claimed this is going to happen, a video was posted and people are discussing that video. Nothing more and nothing less.
My comment was not directed at OP. It was about two baseless scenarios, which are often brought up. The one about UN gun confiscation which goes back few decades was so popular that even UN had to address it.
Yeah, I have read a lot of articals and opinions on the whole UN thing, I don't buy into it much.

In many cases you are right , but what happens when the Gvmt. runs out of supplies? That's when the people will die an all the while saying "somebody should do something"!
I think 0.001% chance the UN ever gets involved here. They can't even handle small 3rd world shit holes countries in good conditions. No chance they are involved in suppressing america. A population is easily controlled by controlling food, as he says. However, if for whatever reason the government tries to put everybody in a camp (this doesn't make sense because now the society has no production), it's not like the other 10% (?) will be just running solar panels and growing veggies.
I do think a lot of preppers don't appreciate how much land is actually needed to feed a person. When there is no meat left (the entire population of deer in the USA would provide less than a week of food for the country if they were all harvested instantly), you need vast space growing food, since vegetables are not calorie dense.

They were housed in a barn and had 1/2 to 1 acre to garden....The Russians took 2/3 of what they produced. Without fertilizer production was limited..
