outstanding On June 16, 2019 at approximately 12:54 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Phillip M. Davis, age 25 or Strasburg, VA for two counts of the felony of Criminal Possession of a Firearm.

And this is exactly how they get you. This guy wasn't bothering anybody, but he was unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident where his Firearms were discovered. It's insane to me that somebody can be arrested for this when they are not committing any crimes. We need National reciprocity in the worst way.

I agree. Hard to say what happened without the whole story. Did he actually crash? Did the bags open up? If the trooper opened them them without asking it would then be an illegal search.

Oh yeah, he actually crashed. I saw the accident and called 911 for them. It looked much worse than I guess it was.
