WHITE PLAINS – Westchester County is offering another training session for residents to learn the strategies and skills they could use to survive if an active shooter event occurred in their place of work or another public venue.
Known as Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE), the training class will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at SUNY Purchase, 735 Anderson Hill Road in Purchase.
“We continue to provide our residents with practical guidance on how they can stay safe in the event of an active shooter incident,” County Executive George Latimer said. “Hundreds of County residents and employees have received this training already and we will continue to offer it in response to significant interest from the public.”
