Agulia ammunition.

I have been aware of these manufacturer for some time, I understand that their main specialty has been rimfire ammo But on my local Gander Outdoors they are, or at least were selling Agulia 9mm, 5.56 and 7.62 at very cheap prices. Like internet cheap.
Specifically the 9mm was going for 9.50 per 50 round box. The 7.62x51 stuff was not all that cheap at $14 per 20 rounds but its still not bad for retail prices on new manufature ammo in this caliber.
Does anyone have any bad experiences with this ammo?
I am considering just buying this ammo by the case at the store and saving on shipping expenses.

@GOPerfect, if I asked for a case would they get me one from the back?

From where? SG Ammo is my go to place and they are selling the Augilla 9mm at $9.50 a box but the shipping isn't free. Aside from that O am becoming increasingly concerned ay having cases of ammo just sitting in my apartment's office waiting for me to come pick it up. I'm worried that one of these days they will call the cops on the "guy with all the ammo". It would be nice to have a local source of reasonably priced ammo.

I buy from Target Sports frequently but their prices can be extremely erratic, rivaling the cheapest volume distributors for one type or brand and have ludicrous prices for another.
For example the were charging $2 a round for .223 Gold Dots ( A favorite of mine) when the going price for those is closer to $.50!

I have some limited experience with the 124 9mm through my carbine. Completely acceptable but I prefer the Speer Lawman for a little more money.

Ii bought a couple thousand 9mm rounds for range use. I pulled the trigger and it went bang. No problems.

I've shot their 22 Short, Long Rifle (Copper jacket and just lead) and Winchester Magnum Rimfire. I haven't had any issues and generally prefer it over any ammo besides CCI. The WMR is what I shoot the most, I don't like that its made in Mexico but its far better than a lot of the crap Remington and Winchester put out in 22. I havent seen it available in the calibers you mention but wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Good stuff in my opinion and loaded a bit hotter. I shoot thier 357 magnum SJHP 158 grain from my SP101.

i have shot the 9mm and the 22LR standard velocity.
NO issues with the 9mm, good stuff will buy again.

the 22LR, I LOVE!
very very consistent, i plan on using it for Bullseye competition.
it smells like Eley!

I've burned through about 2k of 9mm in my Glocks. Every round went bang when it was supposed to. A little dirty, but not nearly as bad as the Russian or South African stuff. I'd buy it again.

I brought a case of Agulia in .45ACP FMJ. Been firing it from a couple of different pistols. No problems here.
I would buy it again.

Yeah, sounds like my experience with the boxes I bought matches y'alls. I bought 300 rounds od 124gr. I shot it alongside my remaining Winchester white box 124gr NATO spec ammo.
Apart from the Winchester being noticeably hotter I couldn't see any difference on paper.
Not that I can shoot a pistol to be a good basis of comparison.
I also bought 2 boxes of the 7.62x51 which when labeled as such is apparently a true to spec clone of M80 ball. I could get surplus cheaper omline though.

No problems, pretty clean ammo. Aquila is manufactured in Mexico.
For a few pennies more I rather shoot American Eagle made in the USA.

I buy what is on sale mostly but not always, and have used Aguila. I never had problems with it, though I did think it dirtied up the gun more than most ammo, buT accuracy and reliability were fine.
I like to buy American and if the price is close thats the way I go. One foreign brand I like is FIOCCHI, clean well made stuff.

No problems, pretty clean ammo. Aquila is manufactured in Mexico.
For a few pennies more I rather shoot American Eagle made in the USA.

American Eagle seems to always be way overpriced.

Oh fwiw I remember one of the NRA rags did a piece on their .223 and concluded it was G2G. I think I have a box somewhere but haven't tried it.

Of course I have yet to see anything in Shooting Illustrated that wasn't *at worst* "it's not for me but it's aok and you should go buy it" so ymmv.

We talked about this. If I'm ordering I like IMI NATO spec or Winchester NATO spec.
I like the NATO spec loads because the recoil approximates my carry ammo.
