For anyone not familiar with how these guys do things - Its not unusual for dissident groups to be harassed, attacked or worse. They'll get a bunch of the younger ones to set a car on fire, break all the windows out of their house, or go after family members. Its unusual for it to hit the news paper though. I have a few friends that live in Jersey, He said Hasidic Jews moved into the neighborhood a few blocks over and turned the place into a shithole. They buy property cheap, trash it so the rest of the neighborhood property values drop and then by those up cheap, they are a neighborhood cancer. If you do anything they don't like, they swarm the town officials, and harass the hell out them til they get their way. So be warned, if they move to your neighborhood, sell, bailout before your property values drop and up can't sell, unless it to them

That's interesting, in the summer I see them a lot down along rt17. sometimes hitchhiking. They'll stand there near an on ramp reading a book( Tora??) and a thumb stuck out. Looks funny as hell, I've thought about picking them up just to talk to but never have.

When I lived in Monticello they would move into empty houses only see them at night and families that have children they would be running around unattended in traffic parents wouldn't care not saying all are like that but most are

I actually voted for a Democrat named Skoufis who came to my door explaining the situation to me. He is trying to stop them by creating zoning laws where you could only build one level houses in adjacent towns because these locusts buy up homes nearby their town, tear them down, and build multi-family homes and import more Hasidics from Brooklyn. They even tapped into the pipeline to steal water for their town. If you drive in there, they'll follow you around to make sure you leave.
