No one as long as the cesspool known as NYC is attached to the rest of the state. Oh, and Syracuse, Albany, Rochester and Buffalo. Seems as though urbanites who depend on the city for everything also enjoy depending on the government for what the city doesn't deliver.

If the Repungnants really wanted to beat FUAC they would be lining up a candidate and raising money now instead of waiting until just before the election but then again maybe they don't want to win the election and are quite happy with FUAC even though we aren't. Just a thought.
If upstate pulled together like middle America did in the presidential election, we could win.
Look at the numbers from the last two gubernatorial races in NYS. If most registered upstate Repubs and Independents voted against Cuomo, he would lose in a landslide.
NYC has the numbers, but not the turnout if we pulled together.

Yes Astorino ran against monkeyface last time. Put up a great showing by winning 46 of the 64 counties. Unfortunately the five boroughs all went the way of the devil himself, as expected.

Didn't Astorino come pretty close? Not suggesting that he run again, just that defeating Andy boy is not impossible. A pro 2A yet otherwise moderate Republican candidate perhaps? Then again conservatives won't vote for a moderate and NY liberals won't vote for a Republican...... sigh.
