Amscor 10mm-Does it suck?

Bought two boxes at Sportsman’s Warehouse because it was there and the price was right. Took one box of twenty out to try today. Total mess. Out of twenty rounds 17 failed to extract! The final one was wedged into the chamber so tight it ended my outing.
once I cleaned the gun I tried another spent case in the chamber to compare. The Armscir would slide about 3/4 of the was in then stop whereas the other spent case would slide in fully and pull out with light resistance as expected. This ison an Alpha Wolf barrel that has not done this with any other ammo so far.
Anyone else experience anything like this? IsArmcor just crap or is this an anomaly?

Tried armscor in 50AE in my buddy’s deagle and it had a couple failures like yours plus also had a couple where the primer was hit but failed to go off. Tried some armscor 357 mag in both my Dan Wesson 15-2 and my ruger GP100 and both guns experienced where primer was hit but round didn’t go off. Not real impressed with the ammo and wouldn’t buy it again unless it was the only choice.

That ammo is well known to cause issues in a number of calibers. I would avoid it.

Man that sucks. Are you saying you bought 2,000 rounds of this and you’re having these failures? If so I’d be in the horn to them and sportsman’s share house to try to get this resolved. They normally do not take ammo back and I’d guess armscore would only replace not refund but who knows.

thanks for posting. I have a bit of their .223 I think but no issues with that if I ever even shot any of it. I can’t remember.

Thanksfully, it was two boxes not two cases! Oh man, I‘d be upset if I had 2000 rounds of this on my hands. I can live with now having 20 rounds that are worthless. I will save them for the SHTF moment when I get one shot only to save the world and have no other guns available and the supervolcano is about to erupt and my dog is missing and my family has been abducted by the reptilians and I have eaten some bad seafood. Then I will use it...unless there is a nice rock within arms reach.

PS - This was literally the only ammo on the aisle. There were about 8 boxes of it, so I bought these two (trying not to be greedy). I thought of scooping up more - awefully glad now that I didn’t.

I bought some of their .308 for plinking and brass, before all the ammo nonsense. Maybe subjective but it feels over way powered, what is not subjective is the terrible inconsistent accuracy, oh yeah, they crimp the primers too. Never buy it again.
