I just ordered a P30SK from Penn. guns and ammo (great shop by the way). Anyone have a hammer fired H&K? The reviews look promising. Can't wait to put it through it's paces!

They are nice but I have no clue wtf snake solid is.
Oh, BTW @Darth, Olga's USP was a 9mm, not a .40. Look it up. the ammo you pick up for it is clearly labeled as 9mm.
And have you ever handled a USP? Not really very comfortable in the grip. Tank of a pistol though. The P30 is much more ergronomic I'd imagine.

The P30 is very comfortable (to me anyway).
I know exactly what her USP was...I've bested that game on all difficulties AND multiple systems. Raiden's HK SOCOM was in .45. Eww.

You once referred to it as a .40. But in game it was definitely 9mm. I am not a video game completionist. As befitting my ADHD once I beat a game I toss it aside for the next thing. The Demon/Dark/Bloodborne series is the only thing that has held my attention. And Silent Storm, which I wish I had a PC to play it on.
But I am a big, surly nerd. That can hit his targets, actual targets.
@ECU Pirates, is the P30 a traditional DA/SA or a hammer DAO? What did HK call their hammer DAO action again? It was "Police" something I think.

I got the DA/SA. The DA only is called he LEM I think.
Lara Croft carries Match H&Ks in Legend and Underworld.
I have the SK. Put 250 rds through yesterday. One sweet shooter. Play around with the grip panels and back straps, you can really dial it in to your hand. Mine has the LEM also. It is a cross between Hammer and a striker. Great CCW gun.

Have a USPc and honestly it's not one of my favorites. It's a great range gun though. Mine is a variant 1 so there are a few different ways you could carry it. It's a solid shooter, accurate and has held its own in our local IDPA matches.
The reason I don't carry it is that the operations are too much different than my usual carry gun and I noticed hesitations or unnecessary fumbling when using it in a competition. The issues though aren't with the gun, it's with my muscle memory. An external safety is foreign to me and the magazine release is different. Probably faster than my carry gun, but it operates differently.

I have an HK USPc in 9mm. Great range gun, I am extremely proficient with it but a bit bigger than my liking for carrying.

I have a H&K USP in .45. It's a great firearm, very accurate with manageable recoil. I'd like to get a VP9 for carry, as the USP is sizeable. I'd also like to get a SP5K, once I move to a free State. Maybe next year...
I wanna get a USP. Not sure why, I just feel like I should have one. The .40 version would make a pretty good silhouette pistol I'd bet.
