Arm braces aren't even the issue. The nonsensical restrictions on rifles and shotguns depending on barrel length is the issue. Even restrictive European nations and Canada make no such distinctions. The real fight is the NFA. Repel the NFA!

This this is 100%. But arm braces have been a great tool to show how nonsensical the NFA is, by turning a braced pistol into a SBR once again the administration is showing how its going to do what ever it can to destroy the 2A

With this being said, I think sadly I am going to be potty my .450 bushmaster build on hold for a while.

And go back to saving up and sending my saiga over to NY Legal Arms and have them do a complete overhaul of it in time for deer season

It's not a surprising development. I'd love to have an SBR, but putting on a stock that looks like a stock and pretending it's an arm brace, but then proceeding to use it as a stock was never going to be tolerated indefinitely by the ATF.

Sadly the NFA wont be repealed.. the ATF wont give up their money generation machine, and there are to many with transferable machine guns that will also do what they can to maintain their "investments" (there are also many out there that are willing to take a hit on their guns but there are also those who wont)

That is the wrong attitude. Our society is at a tilting point, its crumbling but now is a time with the potential to alter long held beliefs.
No is the time tonfight harder than ever, our leadership has lost its mind and people are well weary of it, the legacy media is losing its grip and new media is on the rise which is much better aligned with the causes of liberty.
I am hearing increased doubts of the effectiveness of gun control from those that have supported it in the past. I have actually succeeded in changing some minds on this recently. The NFA is an illogical piece of legislation, it can be repealed, it must be repealed. We need to stop assuming things will always go against us. Difficult times are ahead, dreadful times. But beyond that there is the potential to set things right again. Don't lay down, get ready. Get ready to fight, get ready to win!

It’s the only way unless one believes that the citizenry can actually fight the government when they cannot own military weaponry or control the news to report the proper story.

The only way for the country to be what it once was is for an event that collapses the government as well and when the ashes settle, a new government is formed. Because if they don’t lose control themselves, you’ll be labeled a terrorist and locked up or killed. Citizen leftists will welcome martial law and everything that comes with it if they can have food in their bellies and their vacations to the Jersey Shore back again.

I’ve heard this skittle butt too. It stems from the Dayton Ohio shooting. From what I read he used a gun with a pistol brace.
If the repukes burn is we’re done. I’m seriously thinking at this point I don’t even know why I vote. They are all lying scum of the earth except a few of them. They will burn us and we will see more gun laws passed nationally than Obama did. They think it will save them when in reality it will cause them to lose the election. Most of Trump and the republican base is pro 2a or hunters and this will not bode well for them.

I saw an article today that many more Hispanics are heading to the gun range after the shooting. I say good. The more liberals and more diverse the gun community becomes the better and the less likely the liberals will be victorious in passing more guns laws. If only the republicans saw the writing on the wall.

I'd be willing to bet pistol braced guns are in the hundreds of thousands, if not in the millions. They've been the big accessory for the last five years or so.

I'm actually very suprised the side saddle isnt more prevalent. Granted I think it came out just after sig purchased the rights to the SB tactical brace and the marketed it better.

I'm glad I didn't drop hundreds on the PDW brace then. I like the shockwave, but I don't shoulder it, and a simple foam pad is more than sufficient for a cheek weld on a pistol. Still complete bullshit though! I figured it was a just matter of time.

If the manufacturers were smart, and strategic thinkers (they’re not) they would cut the price of the their braces now, and start pushing them out the door as fast as possible. The more of them that are in circulation the more they are insulated from regulation. By keeping the prices elevated, because they can, they limit the number they sell and in the end make it easier to ban them.

The original SB15 stabilizing brace came out in 2013 (6 years ago) it was designed by SB tactical and marketed by Sig.

Since then SB tactical now has

9 different versions for the AR pistol platform

2 for the AK (without AR buffer tube)

3 for the CZ Scorpion Evo3

3 for the HK mp5 and clones

4 for not shotguns

1 for the Galil

And 1 specifically for M1913 rail mounting.

And that's just one company. And at this point I dont even think I could find out how many companies are making arm braces

So there is no need to "flood the market" unlike the bump stocks (dont even get me started on that, especially in with this situation) even FUDDs are likely to pick up an arm brace
