Im not sure why he said what he said, the man is very intelligent. We all know jared and ivanka are really bad for MAGA, but if you trash talk the presidents immediate family you have to expect trouble (especially when he was an insider).

Yeah I agree with you both. I just can’t get a grasp around what he thought he was going to gain from doing that. He seems to be very pro Trump. I wonder if it was just a few heat of the moment comments that got blown out of proportion.

I am not sure if he did this as career suicide, or if he is playing the long game. He is a very intelligent man with some great ideas, although I may not agree with all of them. Time will tell with him I think.

I can't figure out why Steve did what he did. Is it a strategic move that we don't quite understand yet? Possibly. More than likely he, like many of us have had at some point in our lives, opened our mouths and fully inserted the entire foot, plus leg, plus whatever else. Personally, I think it's just that.
From what I know of him, he is one of the few Americans who clearly sees the existential threat posed by radical Islam and is willing to talk about it (I agree with him on that) but he also acknowledges that there are other players on the world stage (China and Russia mainly) that don't have our best interest at heart. Personally, I'd rather be closer to Russia rather than the Middle East for many reasons, but let's not kid ourselves that just because they don't call themselves the USSR anymore that they wouldn't slit our throats if they have the chance. Putin wants to be top dog on the world stage and will do whatever it takes to get that place. That's probably why he said what he did and considers it a potentially treasonous action on the part of Donald Jr.

Russia and Putin are not trying to dominate the world like globalists in the U.S. They don't want to be dominated by us. Trying to dominate the world has always led to bad outcome. Russians study history, we do not. We never look back and admit our mistakes, we go on to repeat them.
