Been looking myself and most 18 foot bass boats will not hold 5 people comfortably. I have decided I will likely get a pontoon boat in 2026. I like the sun track 18dxl bass tracker boat.

Anything over 18’ is few and far between and the prices jump a lot. The prices new are crazy. If you find something let me know what you buy because I’m looking for the same thing. I want aluminum and outboard only. If you’re ok with fiberglass there’s a few more options out there but it’s tough. New prices are out of this world for anything over 17.5’ and that’s why I think I’ll end up with a pontoon boat even though I’d prefer a deep V.

Well you're kind of behind the curve: Most Boat owners have put them away for the Winter or shrink wrapped them (at least ones that are well cared for) The time to buy is at the end of the season or in the Spring when they're getting pulled out and assessed for making ready.
Florida is a great place to buy a used Boat as they're everywhere, that said I would avoid any around the ocean, and any that look like they've been left in the water for years. (corrosion/pitting/deteriorated paint/filth and Oil on the waterline/etc)
Biggest problem up here with IO's is not draining the entire cooling system, flushing and filling with antifreeze leading to cracked blocks in otherwise great Boats.
Search FB Marketplace for desired boat and it'll start populating the page and the more you look at, the more and farther out it'll display ads.
