A good friend, who has hunted North America (Grand Slam on sheep) -and Africa extensively says the bighorn is absolutely the BEST wild game that you could ever hope to taste...just saying.

dumbdub, Hardly a cripple. He was heading up a group of 6 younger bachelor rams. His injury was years old, and wasn't slowing him down a bit.
If you didn't have a case of DNS about wild game out West, you would know that a real cripple would never survive a single WYO winter, not to mention the Wolves, Yotes and Griz bears. We see a lot of pulled down cripples on our spring high country rides (on horses). Most of them became cripples due to flatland non-resident hunters who fancy themselves "long range hunters". But, I'm sure a guy who digs Asian girls with big Cigars, doesn't fit that profile. (Your fantasy of having your own Monica?)

My "go to" hunting rifle that took the sheep and lots more game. Probably still legal in NY ?

Your guide got you close enough to shoot at a cull before he died naturally. Again great job.

As for the cull, around here it's nuisance deer the farmers thin. A cull is a weak, less desirable, like a limping ram.

Did that guide take the shot for you? I really can't see how you could have. With that amount of magnification with both the scope and your glasses, the sun would have burned your eyes out.

I don’t recall ever saying I did make a combat jump. I do have plenty of deployments under my belt though. I don’t brag about that stuff. Real vets don’t.

I’d imagine everyone would hate me if I bragged about not having to follow these laws as well. So I don’t. Because I’m not an asshole.

Oh and your planes were never “perfectly good”. They broke down on us more times than I can count. I’d never want to be in an Air Force bird without a chute. Almost crashed over San Diego in a C-130 that randomly decided to go on fire back in 2000. That was fun. Or the C-141 that fell apart over Oklahoma on my way to Bosnia. Another awesome plane.

Hmm. I’d say sticking around so I can leave this state with a 6 figure pension at 50, all the while enjoying my gun rights just fine and being able to carry concealed nationwide isn’t such a dumb choice. But with your eyesight, you’d probably have a hard time seeing that.
