Looking for a couple for display. LMK what you may have. Figured I’d ask here before buying new.

Wouldn't know, I have none..Btt, patience is a virtue, right?
hope you have supplies to shoot it, BP supplies are just as hard to get as CF reloading
check out your local gun stores and see what's in there cases .. new .. used .. broken ( shops with a smith there ) ..
i paid 200 for mine at a small gun shop in bath ny .. it was alone in the glass display surrounded by smokeless pistols ..
Just bought me one of these 1851 Navys from Taylor's. I've been on the fence for a while and have missed out on some better deals. Today I went for it. It's not in the historical .36, it's a .44 and it has checkered grips but it is what is available.
My new 1860 Italian .44
Wish i had ordered the cylinder conversion with it, did not know they need to be fitted.
Never fooled with anything other than single shots so I'll be in need of a few accessories too..

The stock nipples sometimes aren’t the best in terms of quality control.I see people changing out the factory nipples , but why ?
As of now, I can't even get the wedge loose so I can take the barrel off. I guess this is an issue with Pietta's some times.I see people changing out the factory nipples , but why ?
Me neither, havent made it to the work bench yet but mine has a tiny ass spring that holds the wedge. Gotta find something to depress the spring while giving the wedge a whack with a punch. As of now, I can't even get the wedge loose so I can take the barrel off.
