I was at the range yesterday and having issues with light primer strikes on my Remington 700. A quick google search told me to try disassembling the bolt, clean, and relube.
I’m new to this platform (bolt actions in general) most of my rifles have been semi auto.
Long story short I had limited tools and didn’t want to cut rangetime short so I had to get creative...this diy video did the trick. Probably not news to many of you but I figured I’d pass it along for those who may run into a similar situation.
Edit: the rifle operated flawlessly after the bolt was cleaned and lubed btw.
