Bought an aero lower today what should I build with it

Looking for ideas for my aero lower. Was thinking 300 blackout, but not sure. I’d like to build a riffle I can hunt with and just have a little fun with too. Mainly deer hunting I really just bought it because I had the cash and thought January is coming and I might not be able to buy them soon.

That thought crossed my mind. I might do a fixed mag design because it will be more for hunting so what do I care right.plus I have 2 mag lock buttons sitting around.

Look like I’m going foxes mag in 6.8 SPC. Damn those mags are expensive. $40.00 each.

6.8 is going to be my next seems it's going to be used strictly for hunting.

The whisper/ blackout is good for subsonic work and in this case make sure you get an upper that is built with that purpose in
mind only in order to get the best possible reliability. Effective subsonic ammo and projectiles are expensive unless it is for plinkin
with inexpensive surplus/fmjs or 30 carbine bullets.
Otherwise this caliber is not worthy unless you are looking to downsize ballistics performance from the 223 itself.

Here some options....

Best of the popular ones: 6.8 SPC a true and tested meat producing factory.

Reloading Simple: 6x45 or 6mm TCU. Very economical, accurate and easy to reload. Free/very inexpensive brass. 25-30% ballistic
performance increase over the 223 w/o much investment.

Another good one would be the 6.5 LBC/Grendel but to maximize its performance one needs longer barrels and the case design
is more prone to feeding problems.

30 caliber: Either the 6.8, 6mm or LBC above are ballistically superior to any 30 caliber other than the 30 RAR but if the 30 caliber
is wanted the best option is the 7.62x39. Affordable all around ammo yet with brass it can be reloaded for modern firearms
and bullets with acceptable ballistics performance. Also 154gr soft point steel cased ammo from tula proven to be inexpensive and good for
deer up to 100 yards.
Hybrid chambers and bores allow for the use of .308 caliber bullets and some dies come with a 308 expander button for that purpose.

A good thumper is the 458 socom but it is hard to justify with the killing power of the 6.8 out the box. But perhaps you already have
a 45 and want to share bullets and reload.

There are many amazing options but the best ones require reloading and not sure if you reload that is why I mentioned the 6.8 as the
first choice to consider. But all calibers can give so much more when reloading.
