The ones I feel bad for are those who understand the issues, and WANT to leave New Yorkistan, but can't. The rest? Not so much. They need to buckle up. The ride is going to get even bumpier.
The shortfall is entirely due to the wealthy exiting NYS......4 billion in lost tax revenue each year and rising..

That should be handled at the state and local levels, by the people, before the federal government needs to get involved.
The NYC swill control the NYS Legislature, and treat upstate like a servant farm where they can go hiking as a 46'er ,and visit the areas where they have purchased most of the best real estate in the Mtns.
Only a separation of upstate from downstate, would end the dictatorship of the lawless and perverse..only Wall st supports them financially, and that is eroding fast. NYC may as well be Zimbabwe and Puerto Rico combined.
When the high end real estate market collapses as people move out to other states,......it will look like Kiev after a Russian bombing run, or the walking dead version.
The whole situation is a war where they let the BLM out of any jail time with free bail laws, and let them out of prisons..it is a war against 10,000 years of civility by the almost foreign invaders vile and many of them are illegal aliens.

This state hands out free shit everywhere. Our taxes can't begin to cover the costs of all the free shit they hand out and the leaders of this state don't care. They think they can just raise taxes and pay for everything. They're buying votes from all the freeloaders who don't make enough to pay taxes because the tax hikes won't affect them. Add them to the liberal shitheads in NYC and we keep getting stuck with the same incompetent morons in charge. There's a reason we'll never see Republicans in charge again.
