The buffalo southtowns "snowvember " was totally epic.
It's the one and only time I've physically been unable to get out of my house.
People died being stranded in their vehicles and when structure roofs collapsed on them. I think a few others suffocated from carbon monoxide as well
The actual huge highway department plows got stuck. They needed construction front loaders to literally dig the roads out to clear them.

I received about 6-7 feet of wet heavy thick lake effect snow in the span of about 3 days.
I was living in North Buff at the time. We had zero snow.
