"New York State Police with the assistance of the ATF conducted an investigation into Parkers possible possession of assault weapons, a lengthy investigation by both agencies revealed that Parker was in possession of an assault rifle."

So what is an assault rifle? Does anybody know how a Bullet button,thorson stock or other mod has ended in a court case
An assault rifle is, a shoulder fired rifle, that is fed from a box magazine, shoots an intermediate cartridge, with select fire capabilities (safe, semi, full auto and or burst)
There have been no court cases involving any of those

All they said is that they are not going to enforce the 7 round limit, and allow 10 round limits..... but it's an empty gesture since that whole issue was resolved in the federal 2nd circuit court. And since (to my knowledge) has not been an appeal made to the SCOTUS on the ruling, that ruling stands so its again an empty gesture, if anything he said that just to cover his own ass from a lawsuit

Ahh...Same dude - different article. If the feds are involved, I can't imagine they won't tack on their charges if he actually had a "machine" gun.
Buffalo is indeed part of Erie County, but it is not the County that charged him, it is the city.
Pay attention to this case. You will see that there is much more to the story.
