BUT, I do love his statement released to the press!!
At least he explained the reasons for his strong feelings, which certainly seemed an accurate assessment of what has taken place in the past 8 years!

I have to say, NOTHING makes me more angry than when people call Carl a racist! The people who do this have ABSOLUTELY no idea who this guy is. He has taken on MANY, MANY challenges he doesn't need to take on, many for the sake of inner-city kids. I happen to know him both personally and professionally, and can tell you he has given more blood, sweat, and monetary support to the inner-city youths than most people will ever understand. I'm not going to lay it all out here, but if people would do their due- diligence beyond what the media spews, they would be amazed. Most of the GREAT things Carl does, are never divulged because he prefers it that way.

Those fucking geniuses have no idea what would happen to the dis-functional Buffalo School system if Carl says; Fuck it, I've had enough!! He is one of a very few on that Board who is pissed off about the shit-hole education that the inner-city kids are receiving. The people that want him off the Board are the same ones who move out of a city, then bitch about everything about it. Carl lives and has his business located in the City of Buffalo, because he believes if you are going to complain, or criticize about something, you should have skin in the game! He can live and run his business fron ANYWHERE he wants, but Thankfully he chooses Buffalo.

I like him. I like that he stands up for what he believes no matter what.
Under the direction of the Carl Paladino haters on the Buffalo School Board, the students (mostly minority BTW) have suffered horribly, Their graduation and proficiency rates are...criminal. Seriously, running a school system that spends about $1 Billion / year, and puts kids out there with about 15% proficiency rates is the real issue. The Buffalo schools are turning out tens of thousands of kids every year who are destined for a horrible life filled with misery, joblessness due to a complete lack of basic needed skills, and much, much worse.
Is Carl a non politically correct old white guy? You bet your ass he is. Are his attempts at humor on the edge? Absolutely. He is, however, absolutely correct in his efforts to turn the system around for those kids.
Personally, rather than take all of the shit he is taking, - and with much of it coming from those who have not done even 1% of the work that he has done to try and turn it around, if I were Carl, - I would pack it in. I would cash out, and move out of this god forsaken state, and as I parted, I would post a great big bulletin board message that told off his attackers in no uncertain terms.
In fact, I'll go so far as to predict that 5 years after Carl is off of the board, that the same racist clowns that are milking the system dry and producing failure will be whining for even more money, and blaming everyone else for the entrenched problems.

There is no doubt the PC snowflakes, and real "racists" will try to have him removed. I'm not so sure they will be successful. Carl is a strong-headed fighter, who doesn't take to getting pushed around on an issue. Remember when he 1st got on the school board and the real racists were accusing him of being a racist. What did he do? He stood up to them and called them out for what they really were, then he recruited some real talent for the school board, which unseated some entrenched losers.

I think if you look at most school boards around the country, they are run by 'that town's' Politically elite or Politically connected. These people live far above their constituents and fervently believe they have all the answers to their cities/towns social issues
Now it's being reported that if Carl doesn't resign within 24 hours, the Buffalo school board will demand the State school commissioner to remove him....this should get entertaining
