Looks to be a good possibility that his equally law abiding neighbors may have picked up the gun he tossed while being chased by the cops after shooting Officer Aquino.
Yep, shoots an officer in the head after he was stopped with a bunch of drugs in the car, and fights with the officers,- but according to his family and friends he's some kind of fucking saint...

I'm guessing the air bag went off sounded like a gun shot and the officer said I'm shot. The other cop shot him. No matter what I think the shoot was good in my book. He tried to drive away with the cop hanging out of the car. The officer could shoot him for that alone. Sure it's stupid to go in the car because of this. Moral Of the story don't run and things like this have next to a 0% chance of this happening.

Either way, it sounds like we know a frequently arrested drug dealing felon well known to police, ran from the cops, assaulted one while fleeing a traffic stop, may or may not have shot or slashed or injured one of the cops then add in some conflicting information and then he ends up dead. I really can't feel bad for him. He sounds like a scumbag, he ran from cops, tried to attack cops, a cop was injured one way or another and he ended up dead.

The police and the DA's office have to know by now if the dead perp used a gun. They just have to test his hands for gun powder residue. They haven't found a shell casing that would come from a semi-auto, so if the perp used a gun they are looking for a revolver.
I'm believing that the air bag going off caused the officer to lose his ear.
None of this would have happened if the perp had just stopped and pulled over.

I think part of the reporting problem is the rush to be first with the story, facts dont get investigated or confirmed properly and bad info gets out. Remember "hands up dont shoot"? That was all a lie by eye witnesses that the media kept reporting, Id bet to this day a significant number of people still believe that story
