Maybe the rural folks don’t like it because they are paying for something they don’t or can’t use. I don’t want to pay to fix NYC train issues for the same damn reason. Let the people using the train pay for it through the tickets they buy. Politics has nothing to do with it.
Also France cut back on the taxes for rich folks because they all said FU I’m moving to Belgium because of how much your taxing me. Over a certain dollar figure I think France was taxing millionaires at 75%. That’s insane.
