Interesting video on this non-Kevlar armor - Citizen Armor: Carbon NT Protection (Body Armor Shooting Test)
Very pricey (around $1,000 depending on what you're getting), but seems thinner and more comfortable than regular Kevlar. Would be interesting to see how it stacks up to rifle rounds, but with no hard/trauma plate probably not too well.
