Im curious, Do any of the members personally know of anyone who has attained a carry permit in the 5 boroughs of NYC who isn't prior law enforcement or who carries lots of cash from a thriving business?????

That is exactly the same for Westchester and Long Island. Full Carry meant nothing after the legislation was signed. Stay on State and public streets and you're fine. Venture into an IHOP for breakfast and someone see a gun, calls the police, felony. Sure some counties are ignoring the law but venture downstate or into a business that has progressive leanings in your RED county and you're done.In NYS a carry permit now isn't much more than a glorified premises permit. Your home, property, business, vehicle, are all good. Step out in public, leave your property and sure, you CAN carry anywhere, BUT, you MAY NOT carry in most places. CAN is way different than MAY.
I realize my post is mostly a rant and of no help, sorry...
OMG... Yeah well, that Bug Bad Wolf hasn't reared its ugly head just yet... Post some case law of prosecuting a CCW Felony case since the BS CCIA passed! You WON'T! Because the State will NOT allow that precedent to see the light of day inside a court room and provide cause for the law to be challenged (and lose) in a higher court!
Besides, who said I had my reading glasses on when entering a premises and noticed any posted signage?
Gimme a break already with this garbage! The law is Unconstitutional as written and therefore isn't a law at all...
Have a great day!
