This shows a lot of promise and would be a fantastic option for NYers. Also for hunters in states like PA where semi auto rifles cannot be used for most hunting.
One of these in 350 Legend would make a great modern woods gun.

Here , Here . Not everything works or should be made on the AR platform.FUGLY !! I'm sorry but I could never bring myself to be seen with that.

It's not really an AR as such. It is a completely unique lower and bolt assembly that is compatible with standard AR15 uppers. But it sound like Bond Arms wants to develop a unique upper as well. What was specifically mentioned was lowering the top rail area as with no charging handle involved that space doesn'tnnee to exist. Here , Here . Exactly. It’s not an updating of an older design but instead a truly new modern design. What caught my eye was how short the lever throw is to cycle it. Being able to change uppers or even change the bolt for different calibers is a plus. Being able to use any Remington 870 stock is a plus. I can have a lever gun in any “AR15” caliber. So I could have it in 22LR or 5.56 for plinking and then quickly and easily change into 350 legend or 450 bushmaster for something with more power for hunting. Or even have a lever action in 300 blackout running subsonics. Being able to mount any optic is a plus.I belive tge MSRP was listed as $Fuck-ton.99

As for it's appearance, that is what modern firearms look like now days. Modern designs are all about modularity and ease of optics mounting, that means M1913 rails and Mlok slots. Other features such as a multi lug rotating bolt and a progressive lever throw are meaningful, modern refinements to the lever action design.
This is about keeping lever actions fully relevant which is a good thing. It may not have the classic lines of a Winchester Model 94 but for deer hunting in PA I'd probably pick this over a 94 for practical reasons. Like I said earlier this in 350 Legend wood make a great woods gun for deer and it would be easy to mount modern optics such as a red dot or Prism Scope. In fact I think an ACOG or similar would be a great option for in the woods. Simple, durable, weather and abuse proof. Mounting a modern prism optic on a traditional lever gun is likely gonna be a cludge job.
Keep in mind this is a prototype. The production model would likely look a little slicker, specifically maybe the cut down rail height like they seem to want to do by omitting the unneeded charging handle space. The more that I read about and look into this new concept the more I’m starting to like it. I don’t care much for it’s ascetics but it’s practicality is intriguing.

Form follows function. Nothing is ugly that functions well.Ugly like a wrench but I like wrenches.
That gun is fuglier than a cat with a shaved asshole walkin’ backwards.Form follows function. Nothing is ugly that functions well.
Your opinion and opinions are like excuses. You know what they say about excuses don't you? That gun is fuglier than a cat with a shaved asshole walkin’ backwards.
No, but I know what they say about opinions- they’re like an anus, everybody has one, blah, blah, blah. What do they say about excuses? That they’re the currency of the inadequate and desperate? I know! Excuses are the sheep that underachievers count to fall asleep at night? Wait I got it- excuses are for those who won’t take responsibility fir their failures, right? Either way, no matter what your excuse, that gun is ugly. It’s an abomination. Those are facts. It might function, but so does a turd, if you understand it’s job. Hope you have a good day.Your opinion and opinions are like excuses. You know what they say about excuses don't you?

My OPINION is that gun is UGLY and there’s no EXCUSE for it.
I don't like large loop levers. Just gives space for your knuckles to accelerate into the loop and that can't be comfortable.FightLite HERRING® MODERN LEVER-ACTION in top photo and the Bond Arms in the bottom photo, I think I like the Bond Arms (Magpul Stock) a little better

It’s a cool idea. I dig the concept. It’s just ugly. I’m ugly, too, but my guns still run.I think it looks good.
With just the barrel and bolt needing to be changed for caliber swaps I'm sure any of the small frame thumper cartridges would eventually be available.50 Beowulf or one in AR-10 platform please!
