The left really hates you.
Maybe he's from Brooklyn like chuckyThis is the problem with somebody who always needs to have something to tell a camera.
Some of us here have said it would be fun for an apocalypse to see what we're made of, but we're not really serious. I wonder if he is or just was short on something to say.
Haven’t done the math but at the current death rate I’m thinking that’s how many would be projected to die.Where does he say kill 11 million people? Stupid comments from a tv talking head. Much ado about nothing.
Do you think we will somehow keep this from spreading?
Can we stop the flu?
We used to take kids to other children who had the mumps.
It is your right to get this flu; the law is the next one under the abortion law just look .
Santelli is one of the smartest guys on TV. What he was saying is that the anticipation is worse than anything right now. The virus will get around no matter what we do, so let’s get it over with.
I can understand that point of view.
But who cares about the planet if they're dead? It would be good for the planet if 100% of humans died. Mr Smith was right. We are like a virus. If a pandemic wiped out 10% of the population it would be a good thing for the planet. Too bad it couldnt be designed to only get the lunatics on the left.
Fair point, but I didnt mean that from a save the earth position, what i meant is that it would be better for the remaining % of the population. If a disease were to wipe out only the leeches, the evil, "the bad people" the rest of the world would have a much better way of life. But who cares about the planet if they're dead? It would be good for the planet if 100% of humans died. Mr Smith was right. We are like a virus.
He's still an @$$hole
And Trump said the white supremacists in Virginia were some really good people.
I believe you shouldn’t criticize someone for a quote taken out of context until you review the full clip.
ETA Here’s the full quote:
Now, I’m not saying this is the generic-type flu," he noted. "But maybe we’d be just better off if we gave it to everybody, and then in a month it would be over because the mortality rate of this probably isn’t going to be any different if we did it that way than the long-term picture, but the difference is we’re wreaking havoc on global and domestic economies.”
I happen to agree that no matter how many bottles of Purell that we panic buy, the virus is getting around wherever it wants to go. So he’s not wrong from that perspective.
By whom: The Democrat-aligned mass media.15 vs 20,000. What kind of fear mongering is being perpetuated? By whom? For what purpose?
Of course because the stock market certainly is more important than human lives.I think what santelli meant is that this virus is going to run its course through the country over the next few weeks or months and that it would be better for the stock market if we got to the bottom sooner rather than later. If you are watching the stock market gyrations over the past 2 weeks you know there will be continued selling with every increase in the number of infected.
It was a stupid thing to say given there will be a number of deaths associated with this virus. But he has a point. Repeated drops of 800-1000 points over the next month could really cause some significant ongoing damage. From that perspective getting to a bottom sooner from which the market could start to recover would be preferable.
