Constitutional carry (albeit without open carry) has moved a step closer in FL. It passed the last required Senate committee yesterday, 3/9/23, and will now go to the Senate floor for debate. Watch the attached news video to see some of the debate. Fun to see the pissing and moaning by the anti's at this latest hearing.
And here is a link to the video (3 hrs, 17 minutes) of the actual hearing yesterday.
I am not sure if it needs to go thru any other passage in the House? Also, I read that the House and Senate Bills have now been aligned text wise. And Governor Desantis has vowed to sign it when it reaches him. Looks to me like FL will be the 26th state to enact this.
Looks as though progress is moving along in SC and Nebraska as well.
Florida permitless carry bill passes committee, heads to Senate
The Public Safety Bill passed the Senate Com on Fiscal Policy, but it came with a lot of public comment from people weighing in on both sides of the issue.
