I find this to be pretty bad.
Sheriff deputies, they are cops who work at the jail.Jail guards, not cops. Fake news against cops like usual.
I can't imagine what those jail guards were thinking that they could get away with something like this. Idiots.
Given the choice, I'd take their pensions in a civil suit if if was the kid.Too bad the kid can't ask the judge to just let him have all three of those self important piece of shit cops tied to chairs to return the favor to each of them. An eye for an eye justice seems fitting.
Maybe the answer to the cam question is to allow the switch, but make having the camera off prima facie evidence the officer was covering something up if there are any allegations ?
Sheriff deputies, they are cops who work at the jail.
In some places they may even patrol some days and guard others.
Sheriffs deputies aren't cops. Even they will say it.
The state declares stuff "prima facia evidence" all the time, they certainly have the power. As with "no camera, no crime" that came up a few days ago...
This statement shows a serious lack of understanding as to how the courts work. Since I'm just a dumb cop and we know nothing, I won't waste time explaining why. But the truth is out there.
from PL265.15
6. The possession of five or more firearms by any person is
presumptive evidence that such person possessed the firearms with the
intent to sell same.
So, most of upstate doesn't have any cops ?Sheriffs deputies aren't cops. Even they will say it.
Thanks for saving us the time.Since I'm just a dumb cop and we know nothing, I won't waste time explaining why.
That's how it is in my county. At any major event, you'll see Deputies.Sheriff deputies, they are cops who work at the jail.
In some places they may even patrol some days and guard others.
Slow day at the office for me. Nothing else to do. It's this or debate Will on fmj vs Hp. I can't deal with that insanity again. Most of this is a waste, why add to it?
Sure, he's a dirtball, but they are paid to deal with dirtballs. It's like a garbage man complaining about the smell.I have already said that I am opposed to this type of action...
In saying that, let's look at the other side of it. The man was spitting at the officers, he was violent even though he was restrained. How about this guy just act like a normal person and do what he is instructed to do. In order to be placed in the chair, he had to have been completely out of control from the start.
A bit of personal responsibility.
I don't have that ability. I would not be able to deal with human trash constantly.I have to agree with that. I consider one of my strengths to be my ability to control my emotions when dealing with people like that. My best example would be last year when a punk in our cells peed in a cup and handed it to me. Some of it splashed on my hand. I looked down at it, walked into the waiting area and handed the cup to his mother whom he didn't know had come to see him. Then I washed my hands and went back to what I was doing.
