Democrats are self certain that THEY know what is best and that so long as they are in power that they can manipulate and circumvent the processes that prevent them from doing as they please. They tell us "we didn't fix everything we promised in the last term, so you must re-elect us so we can finish the important work we started", another is "we can make everything better IF you'll just do what we want" and the perennial favorite for passing off failure; "we inherited this mess (Trump's Fault) and I didn't cause any of it."
It all boils down to:
Demanding their own way.
Insistence of knowing what is best.
Unacceptance of rules meant to protect us all.
Maintaining dominant power and control over society is the only way they can achieve their goals.
