A data breach of a Christian crowdfunding site revealed that public officials and police officers have donated to Kyle Rittenhouse, a teen facing charges for shooting protesters demonstrating for Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis.
A data breach first reported by The Guardian and shared with The Hill by the group Distributed Denial of Secrets revealed that several donors had email addresses traceable to police and public officials.
Among the donors identified was Sgt. William Kelly of the Norfolk Police Department, who gave $30 to Rittenhouse on Sept. 3. He left the comment “God bless. Thank you for your courage. Keep your head up. You’ve done nothing wrong.”

He continued, "Every rank and file police officer supports you. Don’t be discouraged by actions of the political class of law enforcement leadership.”

“Data Breach” Weaponized Against Supporters of Innocence Until Proven Guilty with Kyle Rittenhouse
A story in The Hill highlights a “data breach” in the Christian donation site GiveSendGo and how that data breach is being weaponized against people who support the standard of ‘innocent until proven guilty’ in the Wisconsin case against Kyle Rittenhouse. You can read the article HERE, but what I would draw attention toward is not the details of the people being targeted, but rather the process behind the “data breach.”

We have talked about the weaponization of metadata for several years on this website. Factually we know with certainty that political operatives within the national security apparatus illegally exploit their access to the FBI and NSA database, the totality of all electronic communication, amid Americans.

The NSA has made those factual admissions to the FISA court who are supposed to be the backstop to protect the fourth amendment privacy of our nation.

The fact that no-one has ever been held legally accountable for violating the law and extracting the personal information of U.S. citizens shows how eroded the constitutional protections really are. Not a single person has ever been arrested or convicted for exploiting their access… so why would it stop? Short answer: it hasn’t.

Donation to Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense came from email of No. 2 officer in Norfolk police’s internal affairs, report says
An anonymous donor in September gave $25 to the legal defense of Kyle Rittenhouse, but the donation came from the official email address of Lt. William K. Kelly III, according to The Guardian newspaper.

Kelly became an executive officer in Norfolk police’s internal affairs unit two months ago, according to his LinkedIn page. He began working for the department in 2002, city employment records show.

In a statement, Mayor Kenny Alexander called the allegations against Kelly “alarming and by all means not consistent with the values of our city.” Alexander said he looks forward to reviewing the police department’s report on the accusations.

Del. Jay Jones called Kelly’s alleged conduct “utterly disgusting” in an emailed statement. The Norfolk Democrat, who’s running for state attorney general, said if the allegations are true, Kelly needs to resign. If he doesn’t, he should be fired, Jones said.

The Guardian obtained the information because of a data breach of GiveSendGo, a Christian crowdfunding website. The leak revealed police officers and other public officials around the country donated money to fundraisers for alleged vigilantes, far-right activists and fellow officers accused of shooting Black people. The breach was shared with journalists by the transparency group Distributed Denial of Secrets.

Once people on the right have finally decided the system has collapsed, things will get very messy indeed.

"defunding the police" would go a long way to convincing them of that.

What do they think conservatives will do about criminals once they decide that "call the cops" is no longer a good idea ?


I'll give them a hint, it doesn't involve "released on their own recognizance", "probation" or even "incarceration".

The recidivism rate will be 0% though. It will be a pity that it also won't involve due process, and will probably snare a high percentage of factually innocent.

But, go ahead, tear down the system that's keeping the people pissed at you from acting on it. That's probably a great idea.

I was told by a friend in federal law enforcement to change my political affiliation to independent and delete any pro Trump social media posts. This data is going to start to be collected and analyzed and used to target conservatives for various kinds of harassment. IRS audits etc. Eventually questioning by law enforcement to determine if pose a threat “of violence”. Which could be used as pretext for criminal charges. VERY SCARY. And nobody is doing anything to stop this. Don’t expect the GOP to save our freedoms
